Problem as follows:

PC#1 got 2x Ethernet cards, 1 to the router that connects to the internet, 1 to PC#2.

Question is, how do I get PC#2 to get access to the internet ?

let's say
router: 192.168.0.1
PC#1 LAN1 : 192.168.0.2
PC#1 LAN2 : 192.168.1.2
PC#2 LAN : 192.168.1.3

too tired to think about that myself atm, so have fun :D

why not connect the 2nd pc to the router aswell? cos well, that is exactly the job of the router, to connect multiple pc's to one network thingy

router is rather far away, and just plugging the two comps together is easier.

If u got XP u just need to activate Internet Connection Sharing on 1st Lan Connection (the 1 which connects to router).
That will configure 2nd Interface as a DHCP server/bridge for 2nd pc.

Enable ICS on the network card connected to the router , remember u need a crossover cable if your connecting pc's directly (directly means not going thru network hardware such as a switch)

Would manually mapping the default gateway not get you onto the web?
