netnanny type app for ubuntu?

having recently switched one my pcs to ubuntu, and also having ydl on ps3 as a stop gap i was wondering if there were any apps like net nanny but for ubuntu and ydl?

ive tried squidguard before it reuslts in no sites being viewable etc

and key logger is helpful shoulda thought of that one
