Where did all you lot get your net names from??

I personally got mine from the fact that my Name is Dan (surprisingly!) and I used to have a p200. What about you?

'Just This Guy' didn't work as a net name so I became Some Guy. Originally used it on H2G2.

I got mine when i was a newbie in CS. I died, and the person who killed me say 'eat lead!' I replied with 'No, il'd rather nibble it', and so Lead Nibbler was born

Then I got into Futurama, and stared to use the character 'Nibbler' as my avatar, so it all worked out

When I woz 13 or so I got wanked off by a bird on an old railway bridge cuz I'd been drinking shandy and if I let her 'play' wid me, I woz allowed to play with her.

Anyway: wank->tug. Mates find out wot I'd been up to and consistently shouted TUG!!!!!!! whenever they saw me, so it stuck (so to speak) but I don't use this nick elsewhere now as it poses too much dodginess, hence I got strange questions asked about it

Nickname at Uni to differentiate between 3 "Lee's" in my tutorial group...

I was initially "Little Lee" (we Had "Big Leigh", "Little Lee" and "Wanker" for obvious reasons) but got thoroughly f\/cked off with women going "So why are you called 'Little Lee'? *snigger*" - so decided to start using the name "Mr B(arnard)"

One of my all time favorite films is Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy". When they are looking at Alyissa Jone's High School yearbook they discover her nickname was "Fingercuffs". The guy to the right of her picture looked a bit like I would have looked if I had gone to a 1970's American College. His nick name was "Whipped".

Also I used to play Q2 Jailbreak with a friend of mine who's nick was Beaten.

Beaten & Whipped. Simple huh?
