welcome to the world of warriors for the last couple of years since release, this isn't a cry for warriors to get help, but atleast the zerkers now know how we have felt all the time (Even now there's only 1 warrior per group, limiting it down to max 6-7fg's per day in emain/odins/HW and that's 7 warriors max to get groups PER DAY! or something..) AND there are warriors rolled all the time every day and even more ding 50 after the nerfs and boosts to the various mid classes.. My warrior atm (before I quit) was my craft-bot when getting groups with my healer..

I rolled a healer to get some RvR action and even with the savages in place and the fotm groups it gets so boring after a while it's not even fun anymore. There should be a wider aspect of groups, and Midgard should know there are other groups than just the the XX savage XX healer combo (+shammie/skald) for regular groups..

IMHO RvR groups should atleast cover 2 or 3 strategies at minimum (not including the SB/hunter stealth groups) for max utility of all the classes of the realm (only class considered useless is thanes and they should get a boost soon) so the fotm phenomena will disappear completely...

Already we have the savage groups, they are one strategy, caster groups are also highly effective if played right and there should also be another group-setup for the versatilty of RvR, so the realms shouldn't just make groups for taking down the other groups, but also have more groups for the different tactics employed by the enemies.. (NB, not meant as a zerg is good thing, but different tactics meant more group-versatility for the other realms also ;))

But all this might be coming in the RvR expansion or it might not... who knows, I might even start playing again :)

OMG.. second (or the third) post this night that've grown out of proportions 'cause of the narrowmindedness of mids with their savage groups.. so as a mid I say NERF SAVAGES and make RvR more fun for all classes.. and please do read what I posted ;)

nah its mostly people on excal i think. So much whining from albs and hibs that people think savages are teh uber and wont except any other class. In a good rvr group you need a zerker or warrior for PF and a warrior is certainly useful as they can slam, which savages cant.
This is more the people who are fucked up than the class, allthough the class itself might be wrong aswell.

leave the hit power
leave the insane hit rate

BUT give them cloth armour that will do the job

and and maybe a glowing head so even noobs1 know what to slay.

Savages have rear 4 second stun that they use a hell of alot if they know how to play, this gives stun immunity and makes slam a waste of time, Zerkers have 35% change to proc pf per weapon making them pf machines aswell as the fact that LA>1h and 2h and add the fact that Advanced evade is 100x more usfull then chain and a shield.

So if we are going just off classes then no i'd have a zerker or a savage in a grp rather then a warrior.

Warriors do suit other grp setups though rather well, just not a Savage grp which is the most commen Mid setup now

can still have 1 zerk 1 sav 1 warrior tho, but unless that warrior know how to play its a waste so rather than gambling on warriors people invite a savage.

lol u think u only got this problem in Mid ? hib aint much better getting grps is a nightmare RvR and PVE if u aint a uber hib char (chanter druid hero etc) forget gettin into a decent grp unless its guild all but quit playing cos i just cant be assed tryin to get grps anymore you cant blame ppl for wanting to make the best grp possible but its gettin to the point where thats the only grps available
but hey mythic know what there doing right ;)

imo roll a
savage
or a hero
or for those pve nuts a chanter and be happy in the knowledge youll nearly always get grp

As we all now savages suck...to bad as so many ppl play them.
I think this will help the savages to become more powerfull

-Savages should have pbt
-Chain armour (a must)
-Skalds speed song..(so we can have 4sav in group)
-Higher dmg and faster attacks

Yes it might be the Savage need nerf, althoug it has actually just replaced the zerker, "in a way midgard did not get 2 new classes in SI expantion, they just got a better zerker and ofc the Bonedancer".
The nerf on Midgard zerker was very painfull and it totally killed the class, (some may disagree) "maby coz the have a high RR zerker already" i myself have a zerker level 50 hmm think he is rr 3L5 and he really suck bigtime, (totaly dependent of Enduranceregn) as almost all styles use medium/High endurance and low dmg compared to the massive use of endurance. I have started to lvl a Savage he is lvl 38 atm, simply because the Zerker is useless in my opinion after nerf (atleast as LA specced).
i dont have buffbot and it took me a long time to lvl my zerker "for nothing". now im starting over with the savage "in a way the same class" just a diffrent name, wish i dident have to.
IF the savage is ever nerfed i hope by Odin that it will not be as much as they nerfed the zerker AND i hope they un-nerf some of the zerker dmg or atleast the endurance cost of the LA styles so we can get the zerker "online" again.

reason for warrior is guarding support, when outnumbered or enemy SoS, BoF or GP and they know how to assist... add that to the fact that zerks dont do an awful lot more dmg than warrior, and last time i tested PF procced 99% of the time and personally i'll take chain and shield over advanced evade anytime

Give Thanes end chant so they are wanted as well. And savages might need a bit tuning. For one reason I'm glad some Mids now see why we don't like overpowered classes. Wonder if it helps if they removed the 4 hit and kept it at 2 hit max or something.

zerkers are not useless. a well buffed & equiped zerker that knows more than zerk and df button is just fine.
they can do the lighttank job almost as good as other lighttanks, mayb the end usage is too high for the damage but with end pots, lw1 and end regen 5 in grp thats not a very big problem imo.
sure savages do more dmg, but im sure nerf will come and zerks will be more wanted again in random grps and less experienced guildgrps that dont play together that often also.

well Pandemic what u encounter now is how RvR allways been for Thanes, have we been screaming NERF warrior's/Zerkers ?

imo move to a guild that wants u in RvR or start your own grp's.

And yes Savages need some tuning got a savage my self so i know what im talking about but with tuning i dont mean nerf them to oblivion like what happened to the zerk.

2-Handed Thane rr3L1 vs rr5 Zerk my thane won easy.

Think its lame to scream nerf to uselessness or remove from game cause u cant get a grp.

Sub dont play much, Soruzi respecced too 2h and i havnt seen him alot since. Zzang runs around solo alot (dont get any groups!??!?! :D)

Sorry but zerker damage is above par for light tanks and end cost is comparable.

Just because a class is no longer way, way over the top doesn't mean it is useless. Zerkers are still a very good class in comparison to Alb/Hib, but I guess a good, competitive class is no good on Mid/Excal. All you want is to be overpowered4tehwin.

2H in duels>LA due to 50% decrease in parry rate

LA Lacks a front style or an anytime chain to use in duels, your armours got 10% bonus, because of your self buff you prolly have more wep skill, your prolly slash so you have 10% bonus, also you have 2 dd's to fire at the start and a castable on the way in.

Dont use duels to define how good a class is as they prove nothing at all, Zerkers didnt get nerfed or ruined they got balenced, my average total per swing inc offhand on df in normally around 300 without a crit and 400 odd with the rear styles that isnt what i'd call weak dmg.

These are the things zerkers need, End usage lowered slightly, given flurry, given a side style insted of a 3 hit rear (Which by what i hear from my tester friends will be done next patch build) given an RA that actually works with LA.

Aside from that i'm all fine and happy with my class as i always was and we certainly dont need a damage boost.
