ok i need some relaxing type music, i love guitars, dont mind the irish type song either. anything that has great instrumental value + good vocals that you can listen to with yer eyes closed is golden in my book :)

Anyone got any songs/artist tips in that style? something you can listen to and really RELAX to

ill give rep to the best songs :)

Aereogramme - My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go

May not be officially out but it is out there if you know where to look. Quite possibly the most lovely album I have heard in ages.

Give a band called Explosions in the sky a whirl, theres no vocals, instrumental stuff, but very relaxing work.

I bought my gran Richard Hawley - Coles Corner

but I pinched a copy myself with it being pretty good.

You might want to give that a shot.

I find Cat Power very relaxing, and some of her covers are amazing.

I dunno I guess it's all subjective as to what different people can relax and close their eyes to, but stuff like Morrissey and the Divine Comedy fill me with a sort of serene calmness.
