Dunno to be honest.

But i played AoC on this comp, so i don't realy think it should be a problem to run this.

Try doing a complete file check, updating Drivers for your video card etc.
If its a laptop then the GFX card is not supported, which could lead to stuff like this, but I doubt it.

The file check didn't seem to fix it.

Pikeh, stop saying Laptop GPUs aren't supported! :p Would help if people posted their models/versions :D

Mooxz: If XP:

Right click "My Computer"
Properties
Hardware tab
Device Manager
Display Adapters. <-- What does it say there?

tbfh, that's why as soon as I buy one, I'm going to run the check on it (in store) and if it doesn't run, kkthxbyebye, NEXT.

Haha :D I meant as in, run the check website ;) But aye, I'll just make them have it as a pre-req for selling gamer laptops/machines :p "If it can't run war, it's a home-user machine*

TBFH, companies need to start giving benchmarks for any laptop with a dedicated GPU :(

It's not the most reliable source of info tbh.

You could try a fresh install of your OS. In reality, it should only take an hour or so if you transfer the WAR files to an external. But even then that could still not work.

Put it all on an external HD or a memory stick. Or even an iPod if you don't have those.

Create a partition and move it all there, will be totally safe when you move some stuff across.

Also, before you do, do a DEFRAG, it'll clear up files and some space.

Pikeh: It is, it gives you a basic understanding if you can run it or not, after running it, should google your card to be sure it passes the mythic "allowed" and generally check drivers etc.
