Ok, just started leveling my Galka Warrior on Bismarck

Noticed that my sword skill goes up every time I attack something, but I particularly want to use a scythe later on in the game. Will I be gimping my scythe skill for later on in the game by not using one from the beginning?

Also, I've noticed straight away that Bastok is the dominant country. I picked Bastok because it looked cool, not because it was the most popular, what countries did you guys pick?

I think most of us are on Windhurst.
When PvP comes out you'll be "against" us, so you may want to switch sides before you get your charachter too high.
If you can find a low level scythe to use I think that would probably be better, but im almost as much a n00b as you.

You should try and level up all possible skills, its the reason why im leveling up a monk and a warrior for a bit.

I missed leveling up sword skil for my thief so im a bit gimped atm.

You can ofc change nations later on as well - it requires quite high fame in the nation you want to change to and quite a lot of cash too iirc.

( so if you're just starting out it might be an idea to swap already )


Ps. Bastok in the lead on Bismarck? it's third on Pandemonium

If you plan to use scythe in the future, use it now or you'll be spending ages trying to raise scythe skill once you eventually get a scythe.
