Since I got nightshift work 2 times a week and I am writing the last half of my project the next 2weeks, I need something to help me stay awake and keep my focus up.
Atm I am living on coffee, water and fruite at night while writing. But it is all screwing really bad with my stomach. I've been thinking about bringing the ingredients for oatmeal porridge(oatmeal and salt, so rather easy since I got access to a microwave aswell hehe).

But what else would be a good idea to bring that gives me a boost of energy aswell as not fucking with me belly hehe.
Water with a bit of dextrose in it?

Btw normally I don't get my dinner before leaving for work, since I try to sleep a few hours before.

Pizza / Chinese > All :D

Although a Curry is pretty decent. Had a Chilli Pizza a few hours ago, woke me up in no time ;)

porridge would be best option, its filled with slow releasing energy has the oats are whole grain which will help you stay awake and give energy off gradually as time passes, maybe a bar of chocolate too to give you a kick from the sugar

Oatmeals always seems to do the trick for me, aswell as plenty of water. Other than that, chocolatebars and fruit (banana, pineapple and the good old apple) is also decent.

Edit: Oats+milk+sugar > oats+water+salt+butter+sugar imo :p

Sugar gives you a kick alright, but also a deep dip 10 minutes after. I'd say stick with the slow energies like grains and meat and shit :)
