need help with Ywain patching :<

It gets stuck on like 85%, starts over and same thing happends, starts over again, again and then this..
Can any1 help me out ? its hard enought being swedish and utterly useless with puters, its early in the
morning and i got work today aswell, any help would be appreciated

Might be congested cause of transfers .. patched this morning without probs.

Patched at 8pm UK no issues. People were reporting an issue if you logged out in /as at about 9pm UK onwards.

did u set is to run as administrator,sometimes u gotta re do it for some reason on vista

If it is the admin problem you got , do following :

•Right click on the shortcut you use to launch DAOC
•Select "Properties"
•Click on the “Compatibility” tab
•Check the "Run as administrator" box
•Click on the “Shortcut” tab
•Click the "Advanced" button
•Check the "Run as administrator" box
•Click OK then APPLY then OK

Tried reinstalling now aswell, still stops at the exact same % as before.

I`l give 50 plat on Mid, or transfer them to Alb/Hib to the first one who can get me patched and ingame :<
Patcher stops at the same KB every time i try to patch, been the same since servers got up yesterday.
Im using Windows XP, and ive tried to turn off the firewall, im not so good with puters tho, im also using "NOD32 Antivirus.
I have also tried reinstalling, if any1 takes the time to help out and it works i will makes sure that person recives my 50 platinium !

its basically what everyone has said to you on vn boards.

Lori said on VN boards they disabled some NPC's like vault merchants etc, So maybe you can patch/connect to server as they have disabled parts.

Tis weird that it works for every1 else tho, and has been like this since Ywain
came up ! Spose i dont have any optionis left but to wait tho.

well ppl can play daoc if they are up to date still, but if they have disabled the patch server to add bug fixes etc for ywain then you will have to wait it out


EDIT: Lori on Vn boards.

We did have a network/database hiccup that may have attributed to some of the delays (I say may, since I don't know for sure that was the cause). The network issue has been resolved.

dunno if that affects anything to it

Neo I am not sure if this will be possible, but could you try booting in Safe mode with networking (normally hit F8 after the prompt to press Delete to enter the BIOS).

Then try running the game and the patcher should still connect. Something on your machine may be blocking you, however this method should help if thats the problem.

Cause we are in BST at the moment (British Summer Time) that's GMT+1
Servers should be back up around 7pm UK time.

Can't login to Kay for some reason. Other servers go just fine.

Edit: nevermind it just took 5 minutes (yes 5) to log in.

Edit2: And it has taken over 10min to log a character in, so i gave up
