When I was a nipper (well, a student actually) I got very into the Necroscope series of books by Brian Lumley. They look cheap and cheesy on the covers, certainly not highbrow reading, but they're fantastically addictive in a morbid horrific humorous kind of way.
Imagine my delight then when I was in the book shop the other day and saw 'The New Necroscope book!' - I snapped it up immediately. Only to discover that there are also 5 other books I've missed in the intervening years
I've ordered them all from Amazon, 2nd hand, just waiting for them to arrive
I'm going to be lost in vampires, dead voices, mutant slugs and secret societies for the next few weeks!
