Afraid that means jack, his pet could be anywhere, even albs dont know whos pet is where when it comes to healing and the pets are left elsewhere.

Even standing next to a lvling guildy sometimes I cant tell whos pet is who..

no guilt here, I had my pet right next to me and perfectly killable by AE, and especially gtae and you're trebs (pet died 4/5 times to gtae/treb fire).

It wasn't inside a wall, neither was anyone elses that i could see (would have been a bit stupid, like 100+ albs as witness), plus it's hard enough to get the pet to walk though the doors when you exit the keep let alone make it go in a wall?!

also what would be the point? with the position i had my pet in I farmed uberloads of rps from mids. First time you guys raided i did really badly because some of you kept gtaeing pretty much the whole keep insides - but for some reason that stopped (mabye all gtaers were rez sick ??).

But anyway with the abundance of ae dot and gtae in mid you don't have a leg to stand on.

Hence my addition that the screenshot showed "nothing conclusive".
I did however see him against the wall, summoning a pet, before backing away from the wall. His pet didn't move from where he summoned it. I know what he was doing, but like I said, the screenshot just shows a necro in shade form.

I was in the SB-squad to take out the CS's at nott and blend, and a brave attempt on a lvl 10 lord when a bunch of albs was throwing a party in the yard.

Technicly didn't I see any necropet in the wall. But I didn't actualy see any pet on the walls ither. Every pet in there was standing in the yard next to the wall making them imposible to kill for ppl outside the keep. This is not sending their pets through the doors or anything, it is just LoS abusing. GOA have not said anything about this way of abuse and therefor everyone think it is legal.

And to all the necros out there using as their defense, the chanters pets. Not in all my playtime have I ever seen any chanter used their pets in the same way as you do. They target someone and send it on em, through the walls if that has to be done. They do not stop them and command them to stand on their post when they are "in" or right behind the walls.

Well over to the fact then. GOA have resived the 1.60b patch from Mythic and are currently transelating it. Expected time for it to go live ~3 weeks.

Enjoy it as long as you can necros. You won't laugh much on the patch day.

I dontk now how you get that to be a threat, but I think he means that when you cant abuse LOS the way you are now, your necros wont be as good anymore, then you actually risk dying when you try to kill someone etc...and thats when you will start crying, and when you cry, you dont enjoy the char.

You mids must be dumb.

I got atleast 3-4 nukes in at every middie that I nuked in standoffs last night, then they ran off out of range. Without any LoS abuse and in plain view (as in standing aside from other albs so my pet doesn't die from AoE-dots, it's green to 50's).

So yes we might become much worse for keeps, but as long as you ignore the threat from us in open field battles, we can still rake in RPs at an acceptable rate. No worries there, you just keep looking at our pets and ignore them more than half the time when you're getting nuked by them :D

Well it is specifically at keeps/mgs people get annoyed with LOS-problems from classes such as the Necro.
In open field the annoyance is simply the same as any ranged class vs. a non range class.
So not being able to park the pet inside the keep-floor and nuking outside is what most people want.
And proberly also what most "now-Necro players" wanted when they got hit by chanters before they rolled their necro - isn't it funny how things work?.

Ah well, I spesifically started targeting every necro pet I could with ae dot, and I know other people did the same. Spam spam spam ae dot and disease. We are learning how to handle the necro, it's not so bad out in the open. It was actually quite funny seeing all the necro pets:) It's the four necroes that were on the wall all the time that were really bothersome.

Over half of my targets were casters with height advantage for longer range, so shouldn't have been a problem to kill my pet IMO.

Dunno - people aren't used to necros yet.

But if you notice that 80% of the annoyance/whining/"nerfbat wanting" that is directed at necros, are directed at necros related to keeps, not open ground.
I don't mind getting killed in RvR, and I think most have it this way (otherwise why play RvR), but when you do die at a keep due to buggy programming(or worse - bug abusing) I can get annoyed also.
I did with the chanters - but necros are much worse in my oppinion - especially from the invulnarability(sp?) from shade form, and the fact that their nukes to 300-500 damage instead of the chanters 150.

(BTW - the last 20% of complaints against necros are from bug abusing geometrics)
