Necro damage type?

I always reckoned I had very good resists, but the necro shit just kills me with 3-4 dots buffed. What type of damage is it?

All necro dmg & debuffs are marked as being spirit based on camelotheralds spell library

all spirit, but it's taps (life and power), not dots... (well, unless they are Pinworking specced, but not many of those
