Wow, never try to release a movie on the Excalibur forums, bitter people will just pick it apart and whine about it, at least if you're not part of the "in" league of people. Katt's posts are a perfect example of this state of affairs (no, that's not an insult, that's stating facts).

i havent seen the video (yet) and i havent been playing past couple of weeks, but that preety much describes perfectly to what point exca rvr has degraded to.

Why is it, When you download a video its always the movie maker winning all the fights, I honestly think its kinda unfair, for example I know NS dont beat np over and over and yet u choose to put 2 fights when u win.

tbh, DAoC is an awesom game, and excal is even making it better!, these forum tell sh*t about the game..

Get a grip lofff... RvR = great, most players are great to play with, if you keep sticking arround the damn bridges ofc rvr will be boring..

If you know we don't win all the time, why do we need to demonstrate such thing in a movie? Surely it's more fun to see that it is possible to win fights against high rr groups at rr4?

Nobody watches an rvr vid to see loosing, lets face it. If everyone knows we loose a fair bit (which we do) why bother showing that? There is just no reason to do so...other than to be "different"

It's not a Nolby Pride movie, it's not a Groove movie, it's not a Random Roleplayer's movie, why the hell would they show fights when they lose just to make it "fair"? Like Naffets says, this movie shows how an RR4 group can win over a RR9+ group, that's enough for me. Geeeeeeeeeeeeez.

Take a good look at yourself, I remember seeing Vengeance RvR movies with Fame as Bard back in the old days, and they sure enough did not feature anything else than wins for VNG.

We never recorded any movie afaik, atleast I dont know I was part of making one, But this is in general not just this movie, , and chill out abit after all its just a game and suuuuuummer

I say it's useless to put in a fight where they add with debuffstungogo setup. Any skillless monkey can do that (as proven by TD, SS and other random zerg guilds over 2+ years).

Yeah u got some points and its nice low rr grp can beat ~rr9 grp if playin well.
I just picture myself winning 10~ fights and lose 2-3 and later on a movie release with the fights we lost :> Would annoy me but I guess its a part of the game Guess they have to make their own moving Showing when they win like Belomar said above :>

Dude chill. I dont believe we have ever said 'rr4>rr9!!!'. Any feeling you have of that is just something you have insinuated yourself . We know there are certain groups that generally give us a good spanking (primarily mid). It was just meant to be fun not leet. Oh and none of us are rr4 anymore either
