Name the band (going crazy)

I know this is the height of vagueness but I'm trying to remember the name of a band.

A band whose songs I have completely forgotten too.

It may have been last year. Maybe the year before. I remember them being a little scissor sisters meets kaiser chiefs (??) and they had two lead singers, one a camp? metrosexual? guy who wore eyeliner, had dark hair, and wore bright coloured nail varnish. The other a black lady with a belting voice, who was neither waif nor big woman, but I suppose homely shaped. I remember the band wearing lots of bright colours.

This is worse than the time I had the wizbit song stuck in my head, and no idea where it came from or what it belonged to.
