There's a song being played recently. Sung by a guy, but I think its a cover of a song by a girl. Or a girl band. Possibly. It's quite melodic, well sung, and not too strong a backing track. Something about love disappearing. Perhaps.

Honestly, I tried to remember more details, I really did, but then I read a newspaper and all my memories fell out. Now I just have a big frustrating black hole in my brain.

So... new songs that might be about the end of love that might be covers of songs that were possibly sung by females. Go.

(I might need more sleep too. And less caffiene. Got my copy edit through to do, and also had to visit my uncle in hospital today, so spent a three hour train journey taking up all available table space in the carriage and waving post it notes about. I have brain fatigue.)

Afraid not. I have consulted the myspace music stash, with much excitement, and it's not the song I'm thinking of. Thank you though.

This is horrible. Like when you get nudges all day of a dream you had the night before, but can't remember any of the details.

I'm afraid until Mystic Meg and Shazam! team up to provide a psychic track-finding database, this might come up a stumper.

Have you perhaps nosed through playlists from Radio1/2 ?

I've looked through the cahrts, but not had much luck. I'll see if I can track down playlists. Didn't occur to me that they'd be available.

Nope, none of the above. How frustrating. Would help if I could remember a single lyric, eh?

There is also the 'listen again' feature on the BBC's Radio website, if you heard it there and can remember which day and who's show it was, you may be able to find out who it is by listening and checking the playlist.

Going by your description though and your memory you're screwed :p
