Two come to mind
Firstly Flat Eric, although he says it was his brothers and he doesnt know how to use OGC.
but thats bull as you have to run the OGC exe to get it working.

Secondly and more importantly about 5 mins ago I saw $nipert get booted from server 12!!!!!!!!


Always knew he was just a bit too good.

So come on, name and shame anyone who you've seen get busted.

SniperT got kicked? I thought he was an Admin.. and i am pretty shocked he was caught, i thought he was a very good player

Regardless untill an admin says either way with the HLGaurd log I'd rather people didnt take it as gospel, as I didnt get a screeny with his wonid, it could have been someone with his name.

Yes, altho i do admit i did think there was something dodgy goin on, first few times i met him, but then he seemed to be a good guy.. but what ECA just makes me think again

I've seen SniperT play quite a lot now, both on publics and in clan/league matches and I'd be seriously surprised if he cheated.

well I definately saw someone under that name get the boot from VAC.
Whether that persons wonid corresponds to $niperts is another matter.


But there have been times when playing with him I've thought *dodgy*.

Perhaps an admin could check the VAC logs? if VAC maintains one of course.

maybe teh admins should check the wonids, VAC kicks pretty much instantly, I didnt get time for a screeny.

Secondly if you'd read the thread everyone including myself has already said the same thing!

For every cheater it kicks it kicks about 10 ppl that dotn kick. Dont jump to conclusions.

Theres bugger all proof and TBH making stupid threas like this arnt needed .

I've played against and alongside SniperT on many, MANY occasions - not only on the publics but in a fair few matches and I can honestly say I have NEVER ONCE considered him a cheat in any respect.

Oh aye, he's a damn good shot, but no cheat as far as I'm concerned and I'd have to see proof before i ever thought otherwise.

I'm not gonna dispute what you saw on BW12, but really we should all remember that before we go ruining people's reputations we should at least gather together SOME proof to back the allegations up.

We've had it with a player in our clan, some idiot joins, changes his name to b00b{KEA} then runs around acting a muppet and maybe cheating, I don't care what HLguard says about the name SniperT, our Sniper ain't no cheater.

ECA next time you name any player, let alone a BW admin and long time BW player think long and hard about it.

It was unbelieveably stupid. I'd close and delete this thread, but its been seen by too many people so it would be completely pointless.

I've known sniper as a good friend since our MMX days and if he would of started cheatin he would of told me earlier so that he could of sliped me this tenner beforehand, ehem *cough*!

I'm only jokin m8, u know i luv u really! Talkin seriously though, u do get these twats all over the internet and its good to know and to expecially see here that we are all stickin up for each other, thats what really keeps the whole community goin!

Just one bit of advise sniper m8, dont go into the oap IRC channel again lookin for any more sympathy, you'll just get more chants from me of 'For hes a jolly big cheater, for hes........' e.t.c, e.t.c

I always thought he was an average player with a great tendancy to spray (which is the reason for his seemingly "good" play, as spray is so effective).

He seemed fine, but not the cleverest player in the world ;)

Wouldnt expect him to cheat but I have no idea wether he does or doesnt, I suggest the logs for this particular HLGuard incident are brought out into the open and we can see whos wonid it is, then make our judgements from it...

But knowing the idiocy of most CS communities I guess even if it turns out to be him everyone will just ignore it and say hes innocent still and then his clan wont kick him and itll all continue on stupidly as it so often does in CS.

No matter how much proof you seem to get on a cheater they never end up being removed from their respective clans (only in a few instances), and never end up being disgraced really, just a sort of... "oh he cheated, well so what" type thing goes on.... or the classic "hes innocent I've seen him play on LAN, that prooves hes innocent etc."

Lets see what happens ;)

I've never spoke to Sniper apart from to say hi in-game, I watch him when I'm dead thats how I draw my conclusions Skyler.
