Do some people in the UK take nudity too seriously? Should it be a big deal if you don't want to wear clothes, especially as the media seems to have no qualms about running footage of naked tribes in Africa for instance? Though the media isn't in question here for once, but possibly some prudish old fashioned ways of thinking are? Should we burn our clothes in protest?

I wonder when people's aversion to nudity started, I mean when it got to the point when some people viewed it us an outcry? I think it might be the Victorian era, or thereabouts. It's always seemed really silly to me anyway. I mean I have no interest in walking about outside naked, but it does seem kind of odd that I'm not allowed to. You can go outside almost naked, it just seems stupid that a part of you has to be covered up like there's something that people don't know about underneath. I think it's going to be one of those things that people look back on as quaint and naive in the future.

Even now I'm pretty sure that most people under 50 wouldn't have a problem with seeing someone naked and view the people who call the police on them, or complain that we don't have that sort of thing going on around here et cetera, as being a little old fashioned in their ways. At least I hope they do anyway.

I think a lot of people, especially in the UK, still confuse nudity, our own bodies, with pornography.

She was a bit nuts though but I'm sure I could put up with that in the short term...

As for some of the naked rambling people being a bit nuts, I guess they are. It always takes people who are 'a bit nuts' to get people out of the rut of social taboos and backward thinking, like women not being able to vote for instrance.

It makes sense to wear clothes if its cold aye but when its not, who the fuck cares. Nudity shouldnt be censored, language shouldn't be censored and tbh there is no need to censor violence either. I watched plenty of violent movies and played games like SoF when I was younger. Ive seen real people being killed on the internet and in real life and im pretty confident im not a murderer. If violent games and the like can make a kid go crazy and kill people then tbh he isnt fit for society.

Whether I agree with a law or not, whilst being nude in public is an offence they deserve what they get if they breach it willfully....
