I think he realises salvaging the situation with at least the F.H. alb population is near impossible, so he does not fear any recrimination.....


i used to play ultima online before this (gm x 7 bard/mage on europa ) and this type of thing was common - camp stealing etc... was not against the coc u see

If you had not started the encounter then hes not breaking the CoC, its very shakey ground - maybe theres something deep in the coC he'll get a slap for this time tho ?

He didn't break the CoC. You were only camping the encounter but didn't start it, so the cloak belongs to the person who takes it.


You can secure the encounter, grab the cloak as soon as it spawns and let the sphinx kill you.
Then call your friends > go in and kill the sphinx as normal.
