Na Fianna looking for players

As I see from another post here , we are the third oldest guild still in existance on hib excalibur . Unfortunately our numbers are tiny after somebody screwed about with a GM's account , and effectively caused most of the guild to disband . Just a few hardcore Na Fiannans left now , we would like to try and rebuild the guild though . We have one guild rule "be nice" . I think that all of our players are "adults" , and I would prefer it if only adults joined . Age'ist , is discrimination of this kind allowed ? am I digging a hole for myself holding such an opinion ? . Anyway , new members welcome , and how am I gonna check yuor age

I think maturity above age would be a better criteria. Some adults act like little brats, and some younger people can act highly mature and responsible.
But, goodluck with getting your guild back on its feet.

Some good memories of a game that was vastly unexplored at the time, my first character was in NaF, Gulathir a female celt heroine. I think I joined just after that meeting .... Rhymes invited me. Rhymes you still about ?

If there are any small guilds out there who are feeling the absence of players is detrimental to them . Consider merging with Na Fianna please , I know a guild who is interested but only if another guild will do likewise .

Na Fianna are a great guild. I created a little Nightshade to wander around and explore with whenever I got too fed up of my main on Alb/Pryd. Picked Na Fianna mostly at random because I didn't know my way around and wanted a guild so I could ask for advice. Despite the fact that I only play there for less than 3 hours a month on average, they are all really helpful and friendly. If there are any n00bs - either to the game or to Hib then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Na Fianna as a great place to start.

I think the thing to remember here. Is that it WAS a great guild. The name and legend lives on in our memories. For me the peak of NaF was with joxer, Lanvar and Vulcan as GMS.

Was a mix of NF nad AK.

Two great guilds great players merged to make what was a astonishingly well mannerd well played -fun -guild.

never been prouder in the game than when i was made an officer within this great establishment.

NaFianna is however just a name. Its the memories we should be championing. Rather than pittying the passing of a once magnificent guild.

Many are still around in diffrent guises. Many have moved on to other places. But where-ever they are i know they'll remember.. and probably remanice about these days

Never say die

Well , I'm glad some of us in Na Fianna never let it die , and we never will . We went up from 26th guild in hib to 25th last week . Na Fianna may just be a memory for some people , but look again . Na Fianna will soldier on . As for pity , I don't want your pity . There are some out there who respect the die hard attitude , and I'd rather have that any day.

NaFianna was my first guild before big problems started and people left to help make vengeance. Was great to be in the ranks and also an Officer in NaF, keep up the good work Eff, even tho you wear girls colours
