Don't think I've ever attacked Shale during the time I've been DAOCing - however I still take time out occasionally to kill Caldech the Grindylow

It's alot more efficient to PL or get a buffbot for your alts. Normally when you group 101 things can go wrong and waste your evening, only rarely do you find a good group. Now with soo many PL/solo'ers, finding good groups is even harder, which drives more people to PL... and the cycle continues until it gets to this stage where it's hard enough to start a duo, let alone group oO

My sorc cannot xp in task instances where he can't charm mobs. Though I tried a vamp who's pissing through them. A hybrid class without downtime >>> instances

Some classes have the flexibility to group or solo, but my sorc is going back to PL groups.

Used to crack me up when u were doin Slave master and his bodyguards. Next thing 8 dudes would run past with 10 grove nymphs chasin em shoutin "fckin wizard aoe'd"

Pygmy gobbos was fun :S i remember running up and down the shoreline looking for a grp with my crossbow specced armsman and then the FOTM Cabalists aoe dotting them over other side...u can still find me and them there as the camp bonus and exp is insane aswell as it being some of the best cash/time ratios ingame

The sorc goes in first, charms the mob, and then the rest come in, and the level of the other mobs goes up.

Tbh I find myself not even trying to find groups nowadays. When I leveled my warrior I always tried looking for groups and more often than not ended up in either some random group in a dungeon or with a couple of guildies. I even dragged myself to lair to get the last levels.
With my thane I got to solo quite alot, but DF meant xp as there was at least always groups there. (god i miss the days when youre in DF xping 40+ and another realm took it, meaning you all grouped up at mid X-roads awaiting the onslaughter, when you didnt die as soon as the enemy saw you, but you could run into a fg or so albs with some random guys and kill off a couple before you hit the ground.... gifv back )

I rolled my shaman when ToA came (frostalfs ftw ) and groups was becoming more and more inexistant, was depending on people in DF who didnt have buffbots...

I didn't even try grouping with my savage, and stopped trying to solo him at 44, so he has become a leirvik toon.

With warlock i never even thought about grouping, it just doesn't exist anymore

I've not tried in a group, but they are charmable solo in task dungeons.

oh cause i cant charm mobs in task dungeons with my minstrel, and havent been able to do that from 41-46
