No spam (at all), no problems. Use it for work and as my login for MCSE's etc.

Never had a problem. Until today. I can't sign in and can't reset the password. I'm proper f00ked


Yes. I should have associated my mobile phone or something gay with it (not that I wanted M$ to have my mobile phone number) but I didn't.

What I didn't realise is how bad I'd feel now I've lost access. I'd rather have broken a bone :|

Contact support, they will ask you a bunch of questions and you should get your account back.

Or, remove capslock when typing password, test that your keyboard isn't borked(missing keystrokes) by typoing your pass on notepad and then retry and try once more before contacting.

I try to keep to the infrastructure side of things. Just done 70-647 to pass the currently unemployed time by upgrading the old MCSE. How did you find the new exams? I found 'em way easier than the old ones...

The Win2008 exams I've found quite straightforward. At time of writing, the config exam for Ex2010 will fuck up the braindumpers big time though I expect that will change. (I passed but if you're the studying, not braindumping kind, its a tricky one).

Anyway, turns out it's ALL FUCKING MICROSOFT'S FAULT. They've been performing maintenance on the servers and they've fucked it for me.

Problem now is, when I signed up in 1993 they didn't have secret questions/locational information wank - so I can't provide them enough detail to prove that it's me

Well there is, if you name a few mails, give detaile info about the account, when it was created etc.

Jsut takes work.

If you provide all the info that is possible, you can always demand them to return the password to what it was.

Listed the last 15 sent and received mails, to whom and with addresses and the times they were sent, when I opened the account and what the actual password was with them.

Gave them details of the MCP's and the dates they were passed and the times I'd accessed the sites with the ID.

They told me to fuck off, basically.

They've got my last 5 addresses, 15 emails, credit card info, IP address (that must be regularly logged), names of contacts in my address book (that I can remember), details of MCP exams that I've recently passed (with the dates and scores).

I just don't know what else to give 'em. My bank would be satisfied with what I've given them

If I click on the "Secret Answer Try answering your secret question: go here." linky I don't get to answer a secret question. I get "email password reset instructions to your hotmail account bollocks wankfuck"

Scouse, what have you started. I've been regularly getting "Google Password Assistance" emails to one of my accounts concerning another one since you made this thread. I guess the fact that I'm repeatedly getting them means whoever is trying to get into my email is failing but I've changed my passwords and questions and whatnot anyway. They're still trying though.
