First, let's take a quick look at what's going on in the world of Camelot and Mythic. I’m happy to report that as of December 1st, our US server subscriber base is higher than a year ago at this time, and our subscriber base for our European partners is growing steadily as well. So, from a purely BUISNESS standpoint, Mythic is better off today than it was this same time last year.

Roughly translated .........

To all u ppl who have had to buy a 2nd account for your buffbots we love u and thankyou for paying us double money just to play this game. Where 1 account would do just as well (and keep this game in balance) we thank you all for lining our pockets with stupid amounts of money.We will continue to not listen to all the "normal" players that havent left the game after 2 years and continue to ignore the gapping holes still in this game from day one.To all you ppl that play game without bb FU to all those that do cus u dont like dying .....thanks for all the money,im off to buy a brand new car.

Its the ppl using buffbots that are ruining the games "balance" making it almost impossible for mythic to change the game fairly to those that dont have buffbots,they make money from ppl wanting to "pown" everything in sight.

Things will never change in this game when mythic is getting double money at the expense of screwing those ppl over that dont have buffbots.

U dont need to use a buffbot to play this game thats the reason we have alchemists in the game to make those potions u know that increase your stats.You do need to have a buffbot to compete with others that do. Prime example unbuffed stealther vs buffed one =dead unbuffed stealther,hardly any element of skill there even if the skill is only pressing buttons on a keyboard or using a mouse.

But i guess u dont have the capacity to think past my translation part.

can't agree more but bb will never leave the game utill mythic wants them,and while the cash is rolling it ain't gonna happen soon

I totally agree with grandpeck, 95% of new account's on DAoC is for the creation of Buffbot's. And as some players mentioned the bb will not go away as long the cash keep's comming. If mythic wont nerf the buffsystem . . . why not make a server where buff's is on Range like the Shaman Endurance regn, it is easy to do. I for 1 would gladly start all over with a new chr even in same Realm, even i have played on mid/Excalibur for almost 2 years. Unfurtenately only a few high Realm rank's desreve their titel the rest are just BB players, and in my view never will be more than RR1L1.

Because that would be admitting that buffbots are wrong and imbalance the game. They still take the line that the removal of buffbots would be a 'nerf' to actively played buffing classes.

A pretty strange stance to take whan buffbots in actual fact 'nerf' high enhance specced buffers.

I guess they have to say something though, and 'Just shut up and pay us an extra subscription if you want anything even close to an even playing field' probably wouldn't go down well, not even with the extremely dense pro-buffbot community.

Mythic wont change something that brings in money.

You dont know much about alchemy do you...

I wonder what the in game cost is when you want to buff yourself fully oh thats assuming you can do it of course, maybe I missed the potion that says "Givz all cleric/shamen/dru type buffs in one bottle", ummmm wonder what happen when you need to rebuff, ummm would that be every ten mins per chance...? damn I'm glad I can carry 200 items in my backpack for an afternoons rvr.

Alc potions can help in certain areas dmg adds, haste, end regen and heal potions but that really is where the effectivness stops (excl procs and reactives etc).

As a 900 skill alchemist you should know what your stat potions can do by now...

You lvl'd a friar without a buff bot?? grats.. :/
And if thats all that came to mind then I pity you.

I dont anymore hate buffbots, I need one if I want my group to have decent buffs.

When you use 8 buffs of your 20 on end you dont exactly have enough to buff the rest of the team.

Makes me laugh. People are complaining about having to fork out for two accounts, when almost every other mmorpg out on the market suck you dry in comparison. Other mmorpg force one char servers so that if you (and believe me you will) get bored of that char you buy another account to try something else. In past mmorpg ive had 3-4 simultaneous accounts because one char wasnt enough. DaoC gives you eight per server, of which has unlimited gaming hours per month all for under a tenner. Bargain IMO, shouldnt fecking complain...

I not complaining, and no-one has to have 2 accounts,i do have 2 accounts on mid/excal for yes 16 chars i want to play for FUN not to have a bb and "pown" everything in sight like a lot of excali players.Daoc is a game dont forget, some of u ppl take it way too seriously.

The reason that they gave the extra slots was to keep the money flowing in with people being able to play and test new chars very nice idea indeed ty mythic im not moaning about that at all.

PPl are being almost being sectioned into two types the casual players and as mythic put it the powergamers.God forbid that excali goes tottally the way of the powergamer.

I say one thing for mythic they have damn good ppl thinking of ways to feck ppl up.

It's only because everyone else is using them. Take them out of the game and you won't need one.

Then again, they won't ever be taken out so...
