I disagree. To one who has no perceivable future, committing suicide is an easy choice. In that situation, living on is the harder option.
It's only because we speak from the perspective of being people with exciting/interesting futures, that suicide seems a cowardly way out. Try saying that when you're suffering from clinical depression, or your family has been wiped out, or you're heavily dependant on drugs.
I don't think the drugs are what caused him to kill himself (and I doubt very much that this is a joke), they are probably a symptom of his increasing desperation to find meaning in a life/future that may have seemed to be beyond his grasp.
I'm sorry the guy killed himself, and I hope that he has family/friends to grieve over his death. Who cares if he cheated? Its not relevant.

He did actually commit suicide I believe it was mentioned on the news last year. They probably blamed computer games for it as they like to do.
I advise you not to feel sorry for someone who hasn't the strength of character to deal with the consequences of his own actions. He was not forced to "ingest" drugs as he puts it, he knows it was against the law and should accept that if caught he would be punished.
If he felt that he'd never be allowed to get on in life then he was obviously not willing to make an effort.
It still remains sad though, that a child finds life so hard andfeels so alone that he could ever contemplate taking his own life.
One may ask, where were his parents in this ?

Why make an effort towards what he felt was a futile exercise? Unless you can understand the mentality of somebody in a suicidal/depressed state, I don't believe you have the right to critisise them for their decisions.
It doesn't matter than we say about what he did, but it is important to try and understand the reasons behind this, so that as a society we can try and prevent people falling into this kind of trap.
I've never had any friends commit suicide (apart from 1 boy I knew vaguely at primary school ages ago), but one of my friends got seriously into drugs, and even tried heroin. Those people who say that cannabis is not addictive are talking through their arse, because all he could eat for a year or so was ice cream. He got the shakes if he didn't have a spliff or two. I can imagine how despairing heroin would make a person feel, especially if the useage of such a drug was related to poor family upbringing, or social deprevation.
Most of us who grow up in a privliged environment will never understand the kind of desperation that makes a person resort to taking their own life. Think yourself lucky for that, and try not to make jokes about a subject matter you know little about.

If I go and steal someones credit card go out spending thier cash then get caught "oh shit I'm gonna go to jail and I'm so scared, I know I'l kill myself"
Easy way out isnt it, couldnt give a fuk about who's credit card it was .
"I feel unhappy, I'm gonna kill myself"
Fuk sake snap out of it and stop being so self centered, there are people in the world that dedicate thier lifes to helping others and this kid kills himself cos he got caught breaking the law .
If he died trying to help someone or died trying to make a go of things I'd actually have alot of respect for him and feel very sorry about his death .

Spelling is very important, our language defines us as a society, and standards should be maintained. I pride myself on my spelling. You should too.
This kid didn't kill himself because he got caught breaking the law, I think that was probably the final straw. Your inability to understand this means that:
- You are too young to appreciate the difficulties of life
- You are well off, and ignorant of other people's problems
- You are cold-hearted
Whichever one it is, I hope you outgrow it, and show some compassion to others less fortunate than yourself.

I'm an electrician which dosnt pay well and also involves hands on work and co-oporating and helping other people .
You know A&I, ask anyone on irc how much time I will spend talking to them and helping them with problems of any kind .
Whilst going through a hard time in my life I chose to do some voluntary work for children with learning disablity's, this involved helping them to use computers and riding bikes etc. I was 16 years old at the time .
Now you want me to ignore the facts and try to be a smart arse like you with a list of how wrong you are ?
You need to get out more and start realising whats really important in life .

I wasn't referring to purely monetary issues, you could be sweeping the streets, and still be 'well off' with a strong family, and lots of friends. Perhaps this mygot guy wasn't so fortunate in the former, and due to his drug use lost the latter.
And spelling? Spelling is important, as is diction, manners, and many other things which contribute to the quality of conversation in life. Can you imagine if everytime you opened your copy of 'The Sun' you had to re-read sentences because of poor spelling, and grammatical errors?
