I know this is possibly not the best place in the world to ask, but now it has kept me up for 2½ hours, so I kinda desperate :(

I have had this searing pain in my teeths tonight, it is a constant flowing pain from my upper right corner tooth, that spreads through my entire mouth if I let it spread.

I found out I can "kill the pain" by filling my mouth with cold water and let it soak in, freezing it out sorta, but it only removes the pain for 5-10 minuts and then it gets back, first just small pain and then intense pain through half my teeths.

I tried anything I can think of, included taking 3 pain killers and drinking some alchohol, nothing has removed/decreased the pain, so if anyone got a killer advice to either:

Instant remove tooth pain
or
Fall asleep in 5 minuts or less

it would be very very welcome :)

Get the strongest form of parecetamol you have

Hold it against the gum off the tooth that hurts, should numb the pain. Tastes like Vlads asscrack but removes the pain!

Alternatively, smother it with Bonjela, teething gel for infants but its good for ulcers and toothache:D

Get your head, find a strong wall and smash your forehead into it, very very hard.

I think that satisfies the fall asleep in 5 minutes or less criteria.

Get Sharma to rub his cock in between the gaps in your teeth as a soothing floss like remedy,

bit late i know, but aside from the painkiller options:

if you have a dentist, book an emergency appointment ASAP

if you dont have a dentist, or cant see him for like 2 months or sommit stoopid, phone NHS direct, and ask where the emergency dentist is in your area, and what days/times they open...get there EARLY!

If you know where the cavity is, go to your nearest chemist, you should be able to get a TEMPORARY filling kit over the counter...CLEAN you teath, even if it hurts like hell, rinse LOTS, mix up the filling, and FORCE it DOWN into the filling HARD, wait for it to set, take painkillers (should hurt like hell at this point if its bad) after about 10-15 mins the pain should start to subisde...get to dentist/emergency dentist ASAP.

the pein from yer teeth comes from an exposed nerve that the air is hitting/irritating, this is why when you cover it (food/water/filling) the pain subsides some.

If you have any sudden swelling in you mouth/jawline again get to dentist for anti-biotics, if you havnt got a dentist, go to your doctors with it, they will be able to supply the anti-biotics to rid you of it.

and some string like tom hanks did in that film where he was stuck on an island with lots of parcelles
and made friends with a football
and his hair got really long
and he made a boat
and lost his football
but made it back home again.

You more than likely have an inflamation of the pulp in the tooth. The pain is apparently caused by the gas released by the bacteria as they multiply and eat away at the inside of your tooth. If left untreated you'll get a tooth abcess then your in a world of pain and suffering so get it looked at right away.

Best thing to take is ibuprofen that helps to reduce the swelling in the tooth and surrounding tissue. If you can get hold of any tea tree oil rub that onto the tooth tastes awful but it`s an antiseptic and will help with the pain. Don`t put aspirin or paracetamol directly onto the gum as this can cause permanent damage. I had a similar thing a couple of years back had to have a root canal in the end just came out of nowhere. Though a root canal really isn`t as bad as people would have you beleive.

Best of luck

Thanks for all the replies, atleast the serious ones :)

Pain went away all the sudden last night around 2am, so I could finally sleep, it had returned when I woke up at 6am through, went the dentist and got a quick fix and a schedule for another session where she will do a more permanent fix to my problem.

So now I am sitting here, half my face is numb without feeling, can't remember english word for it when they sting a needle in and inject something that makes all feeling go away, lol :)

But the pain is gone, for now atleast :)

I've lived with toothpain so long, that it's just a regular thing for me. I don't mind it at all anymore.

Should get them fixored but...what the hell...maybe one day.

Oh and whatever that made you imagine, it's worse then that :D

I know i should fix it, but, fears are fears and...well..not going into it.

Not....really. It's been around for, oh say, 3-4 years. So, it's not there. Soemtimes it's worse, like, once a month or so, but usually it's just not even noticable anymore.

High pain treshold is cool too X)

but that can be practiced, instead of just enduring it - in the end you'll just get a bigger and bigger dentist bill, some day it will be 10k+ euros and thats not worth it for "acting" cool or living in fear
