Ok guys just a questionaire i just want to see how people feel,views on things and something different for once other than a whine thread.

1) No not really, i wish the PA damage would be more even, and that they would make LA work more like DW/CD

2) Yes i enjoy it quite a bit, would be better if people would stop using buffbots.

5) Hard question that. I'd guess a RA in line with BoF or BAoD.

6) Hmm, you are one of the hardest.

7) No not really, there is always some unbalance as there are diffrent classes with diffrent abilities.

8) I feel that the skald B S line should be made more effective with more abilites to make them more attractive. Shaman mend line could use a boost to.

9) Just one thing.. I'd go with thrust weapons.

10) Depends on the state of my guild and alliance, they are the only reason i really play these days.

minstrel: yes - necromancer: no (this is why, and how they should fix it)

2.Do you like rvr at the moment?
too many mid zergs in emain atm, and almost no hibs, so not really...

3.How much longer do you intend to play the game?
depends on what mythic will do with their patches, if they dont start fixing things soon i'll probably leave...

4.What classes do you fear the most?
there is no 'single' class that i fear...

5.What one thing would you wish for your realm to have?
difficult for me to answer, i would say instant stun to make pbae useful, but on the other hand i would like to see all instant-crap removed from the game

solo a bondancer, in group spiritmasters, since they have a almost melee immunity now, bad move giving that to a pbae class, sms can do massive damage in close combat but RM's... well but thats a different story...

Yes, but its no suprise, mythic tries to keep it interesting, and as we have all seen, they know NOTHING about games, they made a nice engine, the game 'system' is nice aswell, but the way they made each class is worthless, and i dont say it often but: i believe even i could have done a better job

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?
this will probably considered 'whining' but...
they should change the way pbae works, the closer you stand to a realmmate the less damage pbae should deal on your enemies, i know this game doesnt have collision detection but 8(+) people standing inside each other inside a exploding area is simply ridiculous, even though there are tactics to counter it...

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?
To be honest, minstrel is ok right now, but necro, well like i said i posted my suggestions here

I think so, not sure though, however it bothers me that instead of fixing bugs and balancing them game they just make another expansion for more profit, we wanna see more rvr upgrades not some cheeky underwater world, so we can farm the next generation uberitems....

yes its a damn fun class to play, and its pretty balanced copmpared to similar classes in the other realms (mid/mend-healer)

yes, I do. RvR has its ups and downs. Take one day at a time

For as long as the RvR aspect of the game gives me as much fun as I have today and as long as friends continue playing.

Hib, LW users - nasty pos styles. But I block more now /face /flex

Some kind of group RA...defencive/offencive....whatever.

Personally I cant kill sh*t, but as a grp I would say debuffing Hib PB-grps

Leading question, but I'll answer u anyway No, all three realms have their pros and cons.

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?

Make all classes viable in GROUP RvR.......not like now, where only a few of the classes provide something usefull to a group.

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?

Make support classes easier to "hide" in the grp, with a higher variety of sheilds and maybe more races that can become the class.

10.Finally,will you be playing toa?

Probably, would love to see the RvR Expansion first tho. Will prolly use one day to explore the new engine and zone....then farm it for good drops etc....nothing more. Again: I wanna see the RvR Expansion first !

Absolutely not. Skalds are the lame class that people will only invite into groups for (1) Speed or (2) Pity.

I love fighting unstealthed enemies.

Buffed infis/scouts/minnies. In combination.

A decent RVR TL for Midgard. One who isn't trying to get us gimped at every turn.

Pallys. I can't recall ever killing one. LW Champs are scary too, just rarer.

Nope, Mids are stronger in base skills, Hibs/Albs have RA crutches to lean on. Our perceived balance of the game at any point is totally dependant on the FOTM tactics being employed.

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?
Animists. I still don't see how they can viably RvR. Maybe give them insta-cast main pets on a two-minute timer or summat.

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?
I'm a Skald. Theres 100 things I want changed about my class. I figure the most important thing tho would be to provide us with another song that makes us more attractive to RvR groups.

Depends on what it offers. I haven't seen the full list of features yet

1.) Er... no. Skalds blow goats. Someone either up our shout damage or give us a small weapon skill boost.

2.) Only when I get into good set groups. Random groups are usually dead men walking.

3.) I originally planned to leave later this month but Zarff appeared and I'm suddenly getting good groups to RvR with, definately rekindled my enjoyment.

4.) Hmmmm... Buffed assassins. Assassins shouldn't be able to kill tanks, they're assassins and supposed to kill "soft" targets. They also baf and cfh.

5.) Better group RA's. Or less skalds so I get more groups...

6.) Dunno, tell you when I find one who I can't kite or kill outright. Stealthers don't count, they're buffed all the time, I'm not. If grouped... Fadeh's group (PE I think) and Eclipse.

7.) Not really. I'd like to know if there's ever going to be a mid loving patch though.

8.) Shamans, can't have 1 shaman to buff a group with spec buffs and end anymore, now we actually NEED a buffbot to do that so the group shaman can do end buffs.

9.) Small weaponskill boost or increased shout damage. Also a to-hit bonus on the sword taunt style.

10.) Very much doubt it, WoW will be out by then and I plan to invade the RvR server on that.

I am, tho I think there's much to be improved for Armsman (double speccing anyone? ) I still have fun playing, and never really regretted my decision to roll one. Except when soloing ofcourse, then I want to be a Paladin

I don't RvR much, mostly alliance keep takes and guild hunts in Odins but those are good fun usually.

till something better comes along (WoW, DE)

more mature players, and a better attitude toward eachother. atm I limit myself to guild hunts, because 90% of the pickup groups I encounter consist of at least 50% idiots

yes and no. I think the classes are getting slightly more balanced, but at the same time Mythic completely throws that balance overboard with RA's and mostly SCing

sticking with the class I know best, the 2h Armsman.
they should fix the double spec issue, reduce end cost and improve the 2h style list. it's not bad, but nothing overly great.

No. Not across the realms. It is across casters vs. melee. But almost all casters from all realms suffer with this problem, except for a few specific classes (enchanter, runemaster, bonedancer?)

Savages. Casters in general, idiotic resists. Add to that some classes can do stupid amounts of damage because they can debuff for their own damage (our own enchanter for instance)

2 things:
* A limited form of quickcast to make me feel useful when I got a greycon pet on my ass
* A fully working Grouppurge which grants immunity to all forms of CC which I (=druid) purged it.

Clerics are half a class. Thanes need looking it. LA needs improving. Endurance useage on hybrid classes with spells (champs, palas etc) needs to be looked at - imo it should be power only.

Shaman : No = I was until the end problem. I feel it isnt correct to give this to the primary buffer and thus removing conc for him.
Much rather just strip it from shamans.

Skald : No = see above. We need a 2handed specline with styles.

In set groups it would be great. Unfortunately not many around for me. But its fun.

Probably, Mythic makes sure you have to with uber skills and weapons which your enemies will have. If you want to rvr you need it, if you Pve you want it.
Good for their pockets, but I despise this expansion policy.

No, not really as a whole...however I do think it is in some smaller areas

Since I feel like I know too little about the classes of Alb/Hib I´ll only mention theones in Mid:
Skalds, Thanes definitely needs tweaks to make them wanted for being a good class with useful abilities. (other than for example the skald functioning as a taxi with it´s speed)

Thane: I have to say more hp and better SC line
Warrior: Maybe some special ability that makes them unique (as the stag mode is for Heros but in an another and suitable way for warriors.) or something like LW spec

4. None cos im l33t. On a serious note, its mainly stealthers but depending on what class im playing it can vary. Slash mercs give my savage a hard time, Thrust mercs give my Warr a hardtime. When playing my infil if its solo its dead. unless its a high rr tank.

5. Decent RA`s

6. Depends Rambo is tough because he comes with 2-5 other bum chums. When he`s solo (like once in a blue moon) he`s easy. Dont really get into 1 vs 1 fights with my other chars cos there not made for that.

7. Has been unbalanced for a long time, and i doubt mythic will ever get it "Balanced"

8. Hard to say each class is unique in its own way, but there defenatly needs to be a greater difference between specs instead of everyone speccing the same.

9. Warrior and Savage are fine, but Zerks/SB`s need some major help. Zerks just dont have any other options to spec but LA, SB`s need help with both dmg, RA`s and spec options since LA was gutted for them.

10. Probably if its any good although i fear it`ll just overpower some of the overpowered class more. It also seems like the kind of addon elitist's would get to make there char even more uber instead of cater for the casual gamer.

Not happy but satisfied, I do alright most of the time but the Hunter class have issues.

Not playing much atm due to irl so dont have much to say about the current situation. Personally got bored with emain long time ago though. There are other places to go though, but the RP horny ppl dont understand that so when emain becomes empty they starve and leave the server.

3.How much longer do you intend to play the game?

As long as I enjoy it and since I dont get very much daoc time nowadays I enjoy it everytime I am online.

4.What classes do you fear the most?

Friars, shieldspecced tanks

5.What one thing would you wish for your realm to have?

Groupfriendly RAs of more equal use as Hibernia and Albion.

6.Who is your toughest enemy to kill?

S/S Paladins and other shieldspecced tanks

Leaning more towards yes in this matter. Since 1.62 its rediculous difference between players with buffbots and without. Differs roughly 600 hp and 450 weaponskill on my char with buffs, thats a lot imo. Selfbuffs means nothing anymore and they where accounted into the balance when they made this game considering character vs characters.

Groupwise is a whole other matter though but I gave up grouping when I realised my compo couldnt handle it.
Got a new one now though.

Skalds, archers in general and albs need another healing class that don't/can't specc melee4thewinskillz.

A total rework of the laughable BC line. It's a joke and is totally obsolete today. There is no reason whats or ever to specc more than 32-34 bc.
The whole class could need a rework though. Still have our old beta 1h spear / shield animations...

Not really, some induvidual classes are a touch overpowered, but they are kinda distributed through the realms.

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?
Theurgists need something, anything in the earth line other than PBT and also they need some form of AoE/GTAoE damage. Few tweaks to the ice line so you can easily spec for PBT and a high level nuke (like with earth/air)

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?
Slightly higher weapon skill.

Ok guys just a questionaire i just want to see how people feel,views on things and something different for once other than a whine thread.

Cleric: Yes
Merc: Yes

Cleric: Only in guild groups
Merc: Only when I can get heals - I seem to suicide too much
Thid scout: Except when trying to find a solo mid in Thid to stalk They're getting as bad as albs!

3.How much longer do you intend to play the game?

2 months or so until Horizons comes out

4.What classes do you fear the most?

BD's, LW Champs, Chanters, Bards, Healers ( I hate insta mes and ae stun).

Not so much have but remove insta CC.

Cleric: Kill???
Merc: BD's
Thid scout: Hmmm anything in armour or red con.

7.Do you think game is more unbalanced now than it's ever been?

Well it's certainly not balanced - you only have to look at necros and BD's to see that!

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?

Necro's need a RvR role and prob to have their PvE role reduced, BD's need to be toned down solo and increased group friendliness.

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?

Cleric: Some self defence - castable root maybe?
Merc: The recent boosts have helped a lot so nothing major

10.Finally,will you be playing toa?

Prob not since I will have left the game by then - A lot of friends have already gone and it's getting boring now.

Nope, my runie got to low survivability even with 6 sec pbt.

It´s ok with my healer at least.

No idea.

Tanks for their sillly resists and silly amount of hp.

Some kind of group RA.

Paladins, i usualy run out of mana before i manage to kill em.

Yes, most casters that can´t debuff there own damage are screwed. Exept for sorceress which you only need to make a speedbump to the determination boosted tanks, there´s rarely any other casters then chanters out.

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?

Get a better way for tanks to defend a caster or remove determination for tanks. Or get me a better way to protect myself.

Yes with the classes themselves but not with the fact that tank > caster in RvR nowadays.

As long as it goes decent and I'm not being steamrolled by Eclipse and PE etc...

As long as it is fun.

Infiltrators and nightshades. Though now I can solo them with SM if I get lucky

Proper group RAs like BAoD,BoF, GP or SoS.

A tank with stun ability.

No, only the balance has shifted from mages to tanks. In general it's improved.

8.Which classes/spec do you feel need to be changed to fit rvr roles more and how?

First that come to my mind is necromancer even though I dont play alb... Maybe animist too.

9.If you could change one thing with your class what would it be?

Which one of them? More base HP to thanes... Less resists on my targets for RM and SM.

Dont RvR that much atm really, but the few times i've done it lately it has been pretty good. If i would be the god of pryd tho, i would reduce the amount of perfectly balanced FOTM(!!!) groups.

3.How much longer do you intend to play the game?

Dont know, until most my friends do or until i get totally sick 'n tired

4.What classes do you fear the most?

LW users, high rr chanters and sometimes assisting tanks (fotm-grps)

A decent group RA.

Eclipse, (Latino = teh evul)

No.

Anemist in hib could need some fixing to be good in rvr. And skalds should have one more song (like end-regen or so), they are only attractive for groups because of speed atm.

It's not about my class, remove ability to have 90%+ resists imo.

1.Are you happy with the current status of your class?

As a cleric i'm kinda ok with how we are. Healing is good, RA's are good, buffbots around for buffs. However we lack some kind of reliable defence. Further more we are a 2 line class imho, smite is funny but not very viable for RvR atm.

2.Do you like rvr at the moment?

Atm RvR could be better, either it is empty as hell or the next moment there is immence zerging happening, which to be honest seems 60% midzergs 35%albzergs and 5% hibzergs ( but we love those ;p). I like 8vs8, zergs only fun now and then, not like atm

3.How much longer do you intend to play the game?

Should alrdy have quit the fecking addictive game, it's not good for you social life. But ill prolly stay playing till something better comes along or the guild/ingame friends/brother move off to another game (WoW n1 candidate, tho DE and Lineage2 look nice aswell).

4.What classes do you fear the most?

As a cleric i kinda hate champs and savages with their immobilizing backstyles

5.What one thing would you wish for your realm to have?

insta stun, to come on par with mid/hib, or remove entirely from the game

I have a 50 arseman i would like to see have a bit of an upgrade, they haven't been changed since release, tho atm they fit ok in a tank group which has alrdy 1 or 2 merc's. Suggested change: make them the only class that has collision ability, all enemies cannot run through you! now that would be cool
