at the age of 15 equip with a pair of jeans nike trainers and a t shirt, I negotiated the top of a ruined castle wall that was about three stories high and included crumbling blocks, birds nests, a 5 foot gap (and there was no place to land, I had to grab grab hold with my hands as soon as my body slammed into the other side) and to make things harder I had to keep ducking every now and again to avoid being spotted by cops.

In case you were wondering, it was a dare.

I was out cycling once when I used to ride BMXs and there was a really nice hill/jump. My mate watched as I flew gracefully into the air, hit a tree and landed in a whole bush of stinging nettles. And I still don't know what a dock leaf looks like.

Aye I got a bit bored writing it... but it was exciting at the time ;)

Yeah - thats great fun. I've done it off a bridge many a time. Just get your mates to balance the canoe on the top of the railings on the side of the bridge, get in, and lean forward.

:)

A "friend" of mine, for a dare, jumped off the suspension bridge which is just above the weir on the river Dee at Chester.

Cunningly, at the same time, a boat came out from underneath the bridge and my "friend" landed on the driver. (Well - just behind him, but collapsing on him).

You wouldn't believe how fast my "friend" swam to shore and then ran off when the driver pulled out his flare gun :)
