Ahoy and welcome to Ez's review!

last week we got this puppy

http://www.gymworld.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=922

and if any of you out there are wasting money at the gym and have room for one i can highly recommend it. It seems expensive but its really not when you compare it to how much you'd spend on gym membership, it comes in bits and you have to assemble it (ideally a 2 person job) it looks daunting but its really easy to put together and all the different programs etc on it are great to keep the work out interesting.

It has a high weight limit (21 stone i think) which is good and its really stable and steady. My bf needed the higher weight limit but if your lighter then the models with lower weight limits are cheaper.

Any hoo just wanted to do a quick review if anyone out there is looking for any gym equipment then i'd say get one of these babys.

The cost of that machine would provide my uni gym membership for 3 years :p

we had one of them, they get pretty boring after awhile, i woulda much preferred a running machine or just a bike or evening rowing machine :)

save about a few houndred pounds and there are limitless routines, improve co-ordination, simple and takes almost no room when not being used :)

ah well skipping/running are out for me due to my back and this (relax Haar lol its a cross trainer) is gentle on the back and knees so you dont end up popping a sprocket while you work out.

Yeah it is expensive but down here gym memberships are like £25 - £50 a month plus joining fees and then you gotta motivate yourself to actually get there and if you dont drive and its piddling down with rain you'd just be like meh i dont think so, and viola! the gym makes money because you pay but you dont go whereas I go on this every day and I got a mirror positioned in the lounge so I can watch tv while I do it (lol i also move the mirror so I can watch tv while on the toilet hehehe) to stop it getting dull.

Like I said we've only had it up and running since good friday and tbh I have been on it every day for 20 mins (got to ease myself in to it, don't want to over do anything) and I really have seen a difference already. I've got some weights also and I'll prolly start using them when I'm used to this machine (i.e. not half dead when I get off lol).

this was kind of a compromise though because my bf really really needed to start doing some exercise, he got a gym membership a couple of years ago a few hundred for a year and he went about 4 times >.< so I told him to postpone getting me an engagement ring and the money he would have spent on that to spend on this because tbh his health is more important, I don't want to get engaged and then have him keel over :(

Well it is indeed a nice peice of equipment; I for one am not a big Cross trainer guy, but alot of women (and guys for that matter) prefer using the cross trainers rather than the Tredmills. Although ive always been a man who said that you dont need high tech stuff to get fit or to keep fit, go outside and work your muscles harder on the tough ground :)
