Ok so I finished my training for my new job (security guard) on thursday and started work on friday working in a marks & spencers store. Training was all well and good ex-sergeant major of the royal marines bellowing in your face 18hours a day etc etc
But after my first day of work I had a problem, the shoes they had issued me with the uniform were shit! Doc martens, which are a comfortable shoe I know, but when you are covering 20miles a day in them or so new they rub.. and boy do they rub.

That was after the first day I have done another two 10 hour shifts in the damn things after that and every step was agony, if someone had stole something in front of me I wouldnt have run after them
Basicly this morning I decided fuck this, taking a couple days off to let the blisters go and the cuts to heal up etc and buy some new shoes.. that wont rub.
So Im looking for suggestions on comfortable shoes, sensible colours no reebok classic suggestions and such, I tried wearing my Timberland boots for an hour or so yesterday:

Pair of those and they were even worse
Basicly the shoes can be anything.. trainers, boots, smart shoes etc etc as long as they are brownish in colour to comply with company standards.
