So while sitting watching cartoons with my 4 year old daughter, we stumbled upon
How to Train your Dragon. Well the cartoon was rather good and my daughter fell in love with said Dragon (Toothless)

So I thought I would make her a Toothless Plushie as the official merchandise was expensive and looked nothing like the Dragon in the cartoon at all. So after searching around I stumbled upon a template for said Dragon. I scaled the thing up a tad so instead of something you can hold in 1 hand, it actually has a wing span of about 4 foot and is about 5 foot from tail to nose. It's the first time I've done anything like this at all, and I have to say it was a ball ache. But the finished product made it all worthwhile.



This is all of the bits sized and cut out, I used fleece for my material.



And this as you can see is the finished article! I will add another photo or two once I get it from my Grans and I'll stick Eden next to it for a size comparison!

Ah she loves it, not got off the thing since I got him home. Took about 50 hours and cost about, 50 in materials. Not bad for my first go I could have done far better with the wings instead of 3 veins on the wings I only put one, as I found it really difficult to fold and stitch.
