AFAIK, the law in the UK is you must notify all the approriate authorities of a name change, this includes tax, local council, banks, etc.

The hassle of doing all this twice (assuming you want to change back) is beyond the financial reward.

£500 + X-Box is about £15/week, consider £500/week and we would be talking "Mr Turok" here.
