I got a new mobile phone. Its exactly like the one from the matrix, I never get tired of pressing the little button and the slide coming down then saying "need an exit"
But you never caught neo playing snake 2 when he was at work though.

yer its a great phone other than the SMS's take forever to load on screen


and that eventually the slip gets loose and the "lock keyboard" keeps flickering cos the switch is only partly pressed


But its still a good phone...

If its the 7110(e) you mean, its not exactly the same as the Matrix phone - but as close as the general populous is likely to get. The "Matrix phone" was a one-off, specially made model for the film that was basically an old model with a manual slider which Nokia replaced with the same magnetic spring clip as you get on the 7110.

One piece of advice for the 7110. Never drop it on a beach. Sand fucks the mechanism right up (as I found out). It's fairly simple to fix but it doesnt seem that way when yer pissed

The MAtrix phone, or the closest your likely to get to it is the old Nokia banana phone. That is to say I cant remember its anme but it was curved hence banana phone. It was slimer than then 7110 and had that little red button on the side.

Oh BTW ignus as a fellow 7110 owner I feel for u, its a shite phone that i regretted buying almost a week after I got it. Forget for a minute the many software and hardware errors it suffers from, and think instead of what a horrible looking large phone it is. I knew I should have got an 8210 at the time.

Ah well its upgrade month

I don't see what the big fuss over small phones is. I'd prefer a medium sized phone as its not as easy to lose. I previously owned a 3210 (they don't make em like that anymore) which was the best phone so far as it was so simple, but I lost it on a fairground ride. Some bastard has found it and not handed it in so I may post the number somewhere and ask them to give it loads of abuse, would you lot do that for me?
Anyway I like my 7110 as I will never get tired of using the slider, until it breaks.

8210 here, had for about 18 months and bored with it. Such a cool phone for going out with tho. So small and slim you can put it in your pocket in your trousers and not notice it as you cut the dancefloor up . waiting for the new 8310. Funked up 8210 with WAP

Thats a problem if you read off the sim card (it does have quite wank sim reading speed) but copying the numbers from phonebook on sim to internal one means it loads as quick as you'd expect. An annoyance, granted, but an easily solved one.
Its a bit of a heavier phone than I'd like, but its reliable, and its a nice size :/

well on mine kez theres some bug were all messages that are stored unread or in the inbox take forever to load, whereas the ones stored in the other folder appear immediately
