thats the problem about being good, people dont wanna lose a good worker even if the worker wants to leave, its just the way it is though, tbh

i get on really well with both my bosses (one of whom is the ceo of the company) and also with everyone else especially the owners. I'm going to ask next month at some point, go into the meeting with a sound set of reasons why i deserve the money relating to my experience, my actual workload and the expansion of the company (which involves projects I will be setting up)

They can say yes or no or negotiate, but one thing is for certain if i don't get a decent enough pay rise i'm going to start updating my cv and speaking to a few people about other possibilities.

I'm not going to go off on one at them if they say no, there is no point pushing the point, but my loyalty to the company isn't strong enough to keep me here on the money i'm being payed.

we'll see... There is also a chance of up to 100% bonuses but they haven't paid any bonuses for a long time.

also bear in mind I don't get paid overtime and I've been in the office for 6 hours so far and it's no saterday evening and I'm only just considering going home....

goddammit i deserve a payrise ;)

i actually found out on friday that's what postal guy tried, he handed in his notice last month and tried to negotiate with them to take him back and they said "if you want to leave you can"

i much prefer waiting till i have a new job lined up ;)

Hang on..... you don't get paid overtime, but you're working more hours than your contract states?

my contract states "as many hours as the job requires"

overtime is supposed to be covered by bonuses, but as we know bonuses aren't mandatory, although if our new forex dealers make as much money are they are supposed to i can potentially double my salary, but that's all up to chance and a bit of a pipe dream.

If you do get a Phat bonus, we deserve some for convincing you to go for it - like psycologists :p

i'd just been made redundant from my last job and needed the work.
+ it's financial experience which is invaluable if i want to go work for one of the big banks or something which require 1/2 years of financial.

My cv currently looks superb ;)
