things I've tried in this case:

Drinking lots >>> Doesn't help, only makes you feel worse
Smoke lots >>> Doesn't help, only makes your throat hurt like you've been drinking salpeter acid.

things that I've found work:
find a silent spot in the middle of nowhere and scream, shout, curse... (be sure it's far from anyplace where someone knows you and/or can hear you otherwise you'll get some weird looks >>> will make you a bit more relaxed and you'll feel a bit "aired"
Go to friends and watch movies / play pool / play games... whatever makes your boat rock and distracts you for a while

Well, to be perfectly honest, now-a-days, good relationships by what you refine rarely exist. The divorce rates are increasing greatly. By my definition, a good relationship is something that is good while it lasts, which is the majority of the relationships. I wouldn't say either that relationships which fail are just '2 people trying to get it on.' By your reckoning, my grandads 20 year marriage to my granma was just 'being able to have regular sex,' which is completely untrue.

Relationships are risks and can brake down at any given moment for any given reason. That doesn't mean they are not good and it doesn't mean that a one-night stand of casual sex will outdo it in most circumstances since 10 years of communication (an example) leads to alot, be it in general and in sex.

If you care then uncertainty hurts. If you've been together some time and you've worked through problems before then its worth hanging in there and talking to find out what is wrong. Maybe outside things are putting strain on her, and its not really your relationship that is wrong.
