My first real rvr experience

I think Ive killed half the current lv50's in Yggdra once /flex
(they were grey then <cough> but who cares.. right? )

Yup, I will never forget my first real RvR. You and some of your friends were mid-30s and hunting a purple con Sinister who was one-shotting greys outside Snowdonia PK. I was only level 28 and your group had no Theurgist so I damage buffed/bladeturned you all. Poor Sinister got a shock when 1fg of grey cons started whooping him, he killed a few but me spamming a Bladeturn on whoever he was hitting started to piss him off so he attacked me. With one shot he took 3/4 of my health so I ran like hell Poor Sinister was almost dead so he played clever and ran off, stealth and then came back. Next thing I know the death spam starts and Sinister has 8 more grey con kills to his name. Happy days.

My 1st RvR experience,

I miss when us mids exp'd at UC (Undead Camp), remember Pudzy (you horny smurf! so funny) most of all when I was on my skald called Chevron.

Was annoying when a very purple archer came along and sniped us, was also alot of fun if we managed to take one or two down down (alot of help from the big higher level guys ) I usualy lay eating dirt watching them battle.

My first RVR experience was the Bledmeer retake.. still got screenies somewhere, but i haven't got a host :/

1st experience was with my Thane in beta, closing in on amgE with a bunch of mids and encountered a bunch of albs, massive havoc broke out with spears of flames and bolts, Peteman, our hero was runnin around like mad killing albs and o m g did I throw the mighty miollnirs hammers, casted hammahs of doom every battle until DTM or Licker killed me.... Damn that was fun

probably the fg vs fg or smaller fights with cruz in yggdra.

slamming a red con 50 troll (500 dmg)on one of my first trips to emain. That was like, wow.

A year ago I had reached the mature age of 22 levels and the group I was hunting with went to Yggdra to pull some beasts from the hillside by the lake. Remembered we looked around a lot between pulls all feeling nervous, someone said it is ok, high level guys dont hit grey cons. Anyway the hunting trip was great with that added sense of danger and the climax came when all of a sudden a full group of albs emerged from the lake. Targeting them nervously and gulping when discovering all were very purple. They looked at us and then.....started to run towards Vindsaul. Unfortunately our rm wanted to test his bolts so they come back and killed us all. But that is still one of the best moments in the game for me.

Those were the days...sigh

And I fully agree, the introduction of the RAs ruined rvr play a lot.

something very similar to my first RvR experience, i was in a group at lvl 20 or so pulling near the lake when a group of hibs ran right past us, i didnt realise that they were enemies (was a few people around called Celt and Firbolg in mid at the time) and only after the first few had gone past i realised they were hibs, so i got itchy fingers and bolted a hero, he turned on me, laughed at me and kept going.

another great experience was the end of beta event.... turned up with my lvl 7 hunter and hit an orange con elf for 20 damage! i was so pleased

then we all got ganked by some strange giant

First attempt

Entered emain with 2 other sb's, we were all lvl 30ish and HI NIAR we was all 1sotted, he had that stay stealthed after 1shot ability so little we could do .

Second attempt

I managed to sneak through amg and left up the hill I walked toward apk, when I saw a purple con sorc, so I thought why not, totally kicked my ass lol.

Third attempt

Went to emain, where I met an old friend Kedaran, old now, new then, we sat outside apkE for about 1hour, no albs to kill so quiet. Eventualy we went back to mpk, and I'll always remember seeing 1fg of hibs outside it, looking closer, I saw they wasn't hitting the mids with them so I ran down unstealthed, and I wasn't attacked \o/. We all ran and sat outside apk again some of the hibs/mids having little duels n stuff, not killing eachother. Was mainly a spam of emotes, this was the first time I'd really seen another realm's people upclose, was pretty exciting . Anyway after about 30mins, I decided to pa a purple con caster to test my damage, then I was 1shotted my a luri LW champ . btw! Blackdeath's fault I tried that PA cos I saw him do one on one of the hibs.

My point is.. we're all so rp horny now to get our RA's that it's kinda taken the little humanity that we had in the game away.
