I did a little research into the age of my guitar and came up with something interesting. Its a fender stratocaster.
Firstly its a japanese model with the serial code E610264. I tried to look up what year this was made but I had a problem, it shoudln't exist. I found a site that said Japanese made models are not meant to start with N or E as they were resevered for US models. However under the US models this code is not meant to exist either, there are no E6*****. I read somewhere else that very few slipped through the prcoess and are basically mistakes.
This guitar shouldnt really exist, and to make it even stranger the neck is not a normal shaped U from that time, its a vintage '62 C straight half circle. ( I am assuming it was made in the mid 80's because thats when the closest serial i can find is made)
If anyone out there can give me anymore info on when it have been made, exactly how it came to be, and how much it might be worth (no im not going to sell it
