but primarily the mb/gfx card/ram and speed is ok for doac right ? which is most important?

got shitty dial up modem cos i have adsl at home.

i know some of u guys will tell me make my own.. but with the 30 fitting or professinal to do it i also get 12months return if anything fucks up. whereas if attempted myself and i mess up. or the comp messes up in future. im fooked.

tbh, if you're planning on doing a new machine, imo, the main parts needed would be:

mobo, mem, CPU, PSU(if your old one cant handle the pressure) GFX card.

keep your old case, moniter, mouse & keyboard unless they are really really shite

A 6800 non ultra 256mb card has about 5% performance difference over a 128mb 6800 non ultra.

I would get the built athlon 3000 system+monitor+keyboard+speakers+mouse for £854 from overclockers.co.uk since it's a better system and a much more reliable company, that pc is decent though, you can overclock those semprons by quite an amount apparently.

with the graphics card ..... the choices i have from the LOCAL shop im buying it from has these in on there componnts page of there website. ........

64MB GEFORCE MX4000 £23
128MB GEFORCE MX4000 £30
128MB GEFORCE FX5200 DDR £35
128MB GEFORCE FX5200 - PCI £46
128MB GEFORCE FX5500 DDR £43
256MB GEFORCE FX5700V DDR £68
128MB GEFORCE 6800 DDR £189

hence why i went for the 6800 .. because the price difference i PRESUME the perfomance of the most exspensive is a LOT better than the 256mb GEFORCE

The geforce 6800 non ultra is the best value card on the market right now so you made a good choice. The geforce FX series cards do not even come anywhere in the same league as geforce 6 series in direct x9 games. In other words, the card you chose is the best by far out of those.

i hope so . the card im using atm is a GeForce 5600FX it runs toa/si okm ... i do get lag spikes etc...and its ok with 2 acc's loaded (altho can b v laggy at times.. and i DONT have ANY effects on at all in big rvr and i dont have all the fancy graphics either turned on..

with the above setup will i be able to run around lag free with ALL effects AND all the fancy graphics turned on?

yeah it is much better than cdrs, you can fit like 7 movies on a dvd. ok anyway there are two formats of DVDs. DVD+ and DVD-. these are the formats the disks come in. Now some DVD/RWs only write to a certain format ie: DVD/RW- writes to DVD- disks. A DVD+/- gives you the flexability of being able to use either formats.

Code:
[B][I]For AGP:[/I][/B]

mobo: MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3500+ Socket 939 Winchester
CPUCooler:	Zalman CNPS7700-**
Mem: Dane-Elec 1024MB PC3200 Kit of 2
GFX: MSI NX6800GT-TD256
HD: 2x Seagate S-ATA 120GB
PSU: Tagan TG480-U01

[B][I]for PCI-E:[/I][/B] (+SLI?)

mobo: MSI K8N Diamond
GFX: MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E (x2?)

[B][I]Exterior:[/I][/B]

Case: Antec PlusView1000AMG
Monitor:	LG F700P
Keyboard:	Logitech Media Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech MX 1000 Lasermouse

MSI mobo.. sweet board, very good 7.1 audio onboard, dual Gbit connectors (1x nVidia, 1x Marvell). Very stable, and enough connectors for whatever you'd wish to put in there.

AMD Athlon64 ... okay, I'm an AMD nutter, but hey.. it's cheaper then intel, and finally I now I can say that intel is too hot for me ;) besides, that 90nm winchester core is even cooler then the previous 130 nm core

CPU Cooler.. Looks cool, but more important: it's extremely effective at low noiseproduction. it's also huge, so it doesn't fit on every mobo out there, but these will do fine.

Memory... good quality memory for a better price. Not much for overclocking, but if you plan to, just buy the pc3700 or higher..

Graphics... a fine card, will do the job just fine.

HD's... Very reliable, very quiet, and fast enough. Never ever had a seagate fail on me.

PSU... Very powerfull, and very stable lines, and again.. also very quiet

Case... true antec quality, sturdy, heavy, and plenty of room for an optimal airflow. looks good too :)

Monitor... 17" CRT monitor made my LG. Very impressive resolutions and refreshrates for an affordable price. It also looks damn good (imo)

Keyboard... just a good, reliable, longlasting, goodlooking keyboard made by logitech. also plenty of extra multimedia buttons.

Mouse... very accurate and very good mouse. as always with logitech, it's reliable, longlasting and goodlooking.

If you like an industrial look.. check out the Lian Li computercases. In my opinion they are gawd-ugly, but the heatdissipation of the V-series is phenomenal.

PS. I think I got a bit carried away here. I doubt that you'll be able to buy a system like this for 850 pound... but perhaps I put you up to some idea's here

[EDIT] ohw... also get some arctic silver 5 paste... a LOT better then that white coolpaste you get normally :)
