If you arnt very good with xml you should try this program: DAoC User Interface Editor

Its really easy to use, anyone could do it .. You would need a decent image editor if you want to make your own custom graphics tho, i use Photoshop CS.

Yeah, was looking at the XML files in the derida UI and came across that link, really nice program. They've got a UI switcher too.

It's good except I havn't figured out how to bring the compass out yet, and also the mini grp screen is annoying me, the background behind the names which is grey isn't good as a bard, it would be much nicer to both have several mini grp screen choises and to have the background on it (them) considerably darker than it is now (yes I have set window and font to 100% - the darkest.)

i have no problem with the compass so not sure what the problem is

I figured it out.

normally u have compass.bpm & compass.xlm so if u overcopy your map on the old custom it overwrites everything but not compass.xlm because u don't have one in your map...

so he will not show it because it will give an error i think?

just delete whole custom folder before u install this ui so u don't have an compass.xlm from another ui

i have a compass now.

No offence but this looks like about 10 other UI's, not really seen many orginal ones made yet, but I don't know much about making them so might be just limited to what you can do.

Fixed the compass thing so people wont have problems.
sorted some img size's
Changed the mini grp so that the power isnt in numbers but a status bar
Add'd mini maps for poc etc etc

Any chance you could make the background behind the mini grp screen be non-transparent?

Btw the chat font is small, and if u want it bugger u need daoc UI editor then u can change it yourself
