Education is only boring because you have to and study boring subjects.

With that kind of cash I would definately go study and learn things that interest me instead of being forced to study advanced grammar or algebra.
Take a year in france and learn French, go to Egypt and take a crashcourse in Archeology... you get the point.

Knowledge isn't boring, being forcefed knowledge is.
