Religion is not always something you are free to choose.
In some cases people have been killed when they went from beeing a muslim to changing to christianity, or had to flee the country cause they would have been.

They also come to your country demanding to preech their religion freely, but have you ever though of how long you would live if you tried to make a church in a strong muslim dominated area?

And you will also notice that all the muslim faith is based around men beeing the leeding part.

- Woman is beeing stoned to death cause she had a child outside of marrige....she had been raped

- Woman has her faced burned by acid cause she wanted to leave her husband...

- Village elder orders mass raping as punishment for a women leaving her man...

this has lately been in the news...

I don't really have much against most of the muslims (I work with several), but when it get's to crazy, like you hear or read about, I'm questioning myself if there is something wrong somewhere.

Yup, but christianity has moved a bit further.
Wasn't a very nice religion a few hundred years ago, but they've improved.

so you basically have nullified any argument you could have had that christianity was passed down by a divine entity by admiting that man has changed the religion, therefore it is no longer the word of "god".


The qu'ran doesnt teach anything you have mentioned remotely and neither does the bible (who knows whether it did in its original form the last copy of the "original" book is locked in the vatican archives where noone but select priests can have access to it), clerics who want to impose their "version" do, just like priests have done over the years.
Maybe islam will follow the same lifecycle seeing as in reality its only in its infancy, who knows but please dont be as patronising as to say one is better than the other

depends how you look at it,
if the religions are right and there is a afterlife you may be saying (if ofc you buy into it), that they are well and truley fu***d

doesnt quite work if you dont believe in it i think,
however if you live a good and honest life then depending what faith you follow you go to heaven anyway.

this begs the question why people are more inclined to believe in a god than they are to believe in beings from another planet.
