I believe there's a 48 hour rule on having songs if you don't have the actual music yourself, therefore making limewire perfectly fine?

Btw, if you want to get music legally, then the new Napster is good. You pay about £10 a month i think for unlimited downloads, although the catch is you can only play the stuff while your subscription is active.

Theres a way around it but thats best left away from FH and their fear of the law :p

torrent or now and again itunes. would rather have the complete album though from play.com. more often than not though an album only has one or two good tracks on it these days, mostly fluff.

i use soulseek (slsknet.org) to find out of print stuff mostly. that said, there's no substitute for actually owning the records.

Just buy the CD imo. Downloading is just huge crap. You could walk into the shop and steal the CD alternatively, then you get a nice cover instead of just mp3's when downloading.

Really, there are people who spend their lifetime doing the music and they deserve to get payed for it. Now if you don't agree with the way the music is being sold, tough luck. CD's have gotten more expensive, true, but everytime I hold a CD like the new Blind Guardian or Amon Amarth album in my hands I know exactly why I payed that price. It just looks and feels so good to have it in hands and well....can't explain, it's a great feeling =)

The thing is, out of the 3-4 albums I've bought, I've never got that feeling :(

I use Limewire myself it's decent!

Only buy albums if atleast half the songs on it are good, but I wouldn't buy for example Green Days album even if it was all good due to them being super rich already :d
