Nope, "We're aliiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiii-iiiiiii-iiiiiiii-ive, take a breath / take a deep breath.." by Paul Van Dyk, as was said. Fragma's version is "YOU are alive" anyway, and it's absolute shite, naturally :/

Hate all the remixes TBH. Have most of them on vinyl. Prefer the original album version (and the whole Accelerator album actually:))

Most of them were pretty uninspiring, true. Hybrid's still stood out as the best though; probably cos of the many elements left in from the original, I guess :)

Well it's 5:45 am and Im bored, so I thought I'd do some musical list thingys.

My Top 5 Albums of all time (not necessarily in order) are:-

Faith No More - Angel Dust (If you like nu-metal, check this out, NOW. If you don't, check it out anyway it may surprise you)

U2 - Achtung Baby (Nuff said)

Massive Attack - Mezzanine (60 minutes of pure genius)

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

The Wildhearts - p.h.u.q (If you like Feeder, Ash etc check this band out)

My Top 5 music videos of all time are:-

Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Massive Attack - Karmacoma
U2 - Beautiful Day
Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy
Linkin Park - In the End

Hmmmm, more lists.

My top 5 live albums of all time are:-

Pink Floyd - Pulse
Genesis - Seconds Out
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Faith No More - Live at the Brixton academy
U2 - Rattle and Hum (tenuous I know, but hey, bits of it are live :))

Top 5 artists I think should pack up music and go somewhere to die:-

1) Nelly Furtado
2) Starsailor (the most boring music on the planet)
3) Muse (pretentious Radiohead wannabes that they are)
4) Michael Jackson (he should be shot on sight for making the pile of toss that is Invincible)
5) DJ Otzi (seriously, who buys that shite?)

Thats all I can be arsed to do just now. Must go get more coffee.

I agree with 1), 4), and especially to an extreme degree 5).

Starsailor are alright. Though they're hardly innovative and original they make some listenable stuff.

Muse do seem inspired by Radiohead, but they thrive on more of a rock vibe. In terms of 'rock' I rate them highly, although Radiohead's style is superior, imho.

Great song, some awesome vocal work. Best song on the album, by far.

Nalin & Kane - Beachball
Not heard this song personally, but Nalin & Kane are generally very good, might have to get it, when I've got a spare moment of bandwidth.

Garbage - The Trick is to Keep Breathing
A varied man, you are. Great track, great album. beautifulgarbage is a huge letdown though, not a bareable track on there for the old school fans.

Nighty: You can leech my shit if you can put up with the dynamic IP & 2 hour cut off of BTi on 56K. Teehee. How I long for a fast connect.

I'm so going to be thrown over to the other BTi number soon too. Stupid fucking 'abuse' of their bandwidth. Whats a couple of gigs between friends?

My tuppence worth.

New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction mix)
Yes I know, the one from Blade. Heard it before that though and its a size 12 boot in the chest of a tune.

Anything (almost) by U2
Saw these buggers live in New York. Words fail me everytime I think of Edge's intro to "Streets have no name"

Anything by Push
MentalheadcasebloodyamazingdeadsimplewhenyouthinkaboutitreallybutitmakesthehaironmyneckstandonendeverytimeIheartheirstuff type of trance music.

Radiohead - Fade Out (Street Spirit)
Needs no explanation

Feeder - Buck Rodgers and Just a Day
Eyeballs out fun

Prodigy - pretty much all of it
Been a follower since 1991 and I still haven't seen them live. And now I never will. :(

Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar
Perfect for a sunset or a sunrise. Or for just going berserk on the dance floor.

NWA - Straight outta Compton and Fuck tha Police
Angry young black men say naughty words and white people get the message.

Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth
Very old hard trancer on Bonzai Records from my days as a stage dancer at raves. Intro to die for, pure energy and emotion in one package.

Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea
How the hell did they write that?

Blur - Song 2
Not really a fan, but see explanation for Feeder.

Erm....can't think of anymore right now.

What? How can you have heard of Nalin and Kane and not heard this track? :)

Garbage - The Trick is to Keep Breathing

Yep, listened to it last night infact (v2.0)... 'Sleep Together' and 'You Look So Fine' are my other faves. I heard you mention the new album a while ago in a bad tone, so I steered clear of it. The single wasn't impressive though.
