Have been thinking of this for some time now, so i take it the boards.

Do you people believe there is a connection with moving on in life, while moving on with your musical taste. Do you put bands behind just because your eyes are opened to how bad they are? Also. If you keep listening to the same music, do you keep standing in the same spot in life?

1. Mood
2. I can get bored with music, leave it for a while and then return to it at a later point.
3. Banna flies - one day wonders - they're forced down your throat by generic tv and radio stations. these seldom stand the test of time, since they were bad to begin with.

I listen to music i like and rarely get bored with it, but my music taste is very wide. Can actually count easier what music i don't like.

Most favorite stuff ofcourse comes from youth, growing up etc. where you define yourself and as such, it never really goes away.

I think you do tend to move on - I cant stand most of the stuff I listened to in my 20s now.

I have a VERY varied taste in music, and ike Toht, its easier for me to say what I DON'T like...(ie country!)

I get bored of things from time to time and will leave them, come back a while later and like them again, and certainly find I can 'overlisten' to something. Lana Del Ray is driving me nuts at the mo as she is overplayed on the radio and I'm beginning to find her voice really drawly and boring.

LDR was on 3 radio stations at the same time yesterday. I nearly ripped my stereo out in rage. FUCK OFF.

I always find it funny how people can rule out an entire genre f.exp country.
