heheh u will never solo a skald they either hit i.p when they know they will win OR MEZZ n run (this is the most common) either way skald wins not many skalds stay to the end , even if they not got i.p up . only one i can think of off the top of my head that fights if ip down is zoia i enjoy fighting her its good fun (i dont have i.p yet) wish she come to suavage again more often not seen her for a while there.

Aye I should have known better - Thought I'd have a go though. I did say that I always have a pop at solo enemies, no matter what they are if I'm on my own. Seeing as I remembered your name from old, thought what the hell. Might as well have a go.

With hindsight I should have stunned you, mezzed you and left ya there. I don't tend to run even if things go badly. I'm not worth that much RP, not even RR3 yet

Friars are hard though, Jpeg. I may win if it's someone half my realm rank and i have ap2 and ip up and they don't.
Though i will usually stay if i have started a fight, even if i know i'm dying.
Unless it's obvious my opponent is buffed and i am not.
Against friars, by the time i figure out it's going to hell, i don't even have time to mezz and snare before i'm dead.
Usually use mezz/snare when i see them use self haste and continue fighting when i hope it's used up.

Edit: Oh, i go to Sauvage quite often, but it usually ends in suicide or death to guards, since it's so dead there

Murphys is almost never buffed In 99.9% of the cases I'm unbuffed, so don't gloat too much, miss Edelia

Need crippling styles or end pots for skalds. Thankfully both my anytime and level 50 style have got reasonable snares to stop them escaping, or I just use my crossbow to slow them down and keep speed off. With Det 4 the skald mezz barely lasts a few seconds

- Defender's Revenge has been changed to medium fatigue and chain off of Phalanx. Additionally, the damage has been lowered.

So you've began to visit FS more often now again murp, take me for a ride . Was quite awhile ago.

But you must love when the albs comes with fg up to ellys to do there epic or something, then you stand inside the keep with a happy freindly bunch of ellys around you and just tro to feck it up as much as you can for the poor albs

Give more fgs to ellys, although I've began to see more albs trying to get the friendly status with ellys now.. /slap dont do that , It's my only safe spot

Or to be more accurate, no more duels from me full stop. That change will effectively make it impossible for me to solo anymore, as I wont have access to any form of stun, and therefore wont even have the oppotunity to use any of my positional styles either.

And to make it worse my Anytime chain has been nerfed by having the Disabler style removed leaving me with the more heavy fatigue cost Mangle style only. Theres just no way i'll be able to work with 1 shitty anytime chain and the occasional Rage style without the nice stun follow up.

In short post 1.65 you wont see me dueling anymore and more then likely i'll respec full crossbow for a laugh before quitting. (hence my sig comment).

i have fought skalds before who HAVE ip'd n i have still won (similer RR or slightly lower) . hopefully will be able to kill a lot more skalds now in 1v1's now i have purge there front dmge aint to bad its the mezz then style from behind thats hurts like hell can sometimes take of a 1/3-1/2 hp of me depending if skald buffed . if its 1v1 from the front i can ussually win if the skald doesnt win , with my theurg its skald > me everytime inc at mac5 dd's etc from distance when inc i barely get time to cast (my comp sucks i lag a lot) n if skald gets close enough n im not dead i cant cast cos he keeps interupting me when hitting pbt

not tried with scout yet seeing as he is only lvl43 slown down a LOT now expwise :9 so gonna be a few weeks i think till i can be bothered to grafdt hard again to exp to 50

p.s my chars i play are ALWAYS selfbufffed or unbuffed .
