Multiplayer Hosting with ICS

Picture my network knowledge as a little piece of paper entitled "what you need to get online using janet at Uni" and thats about it.

So, I'm on a PC connected via ethernet to another thats running ICS and has an adsl modem. All fun and groovy, online fine, can connect to multiplayer games fine. However other people can't join games I host. I realise this is due to them connecting to my IP which is actually the IP of the PC I'm connected through.

Is there an easy way to get round this? Would Port Forwarding work?

Incidentally, port forwarding hasn't been set up yet (and might not be able to) since the PC I'm connecting through is being setup asa vpn (?) and the owner's unsure whether it breaks the t&c he signed atm, any advice on that's also welcome :)

Yes, port forwarding is the solution... You'd want the port forwarding to work, after the NATing though, so that other people could connect to servers running on whatever port you're using...
