Only one way to prove this guys. Why dont we setup a fort raid for them and we see what happens. I request 4 runies with Runes of Decimation to turn up.

There are more tactics than that and I reckon we could get them out of pow quite quickly also whilst not using RoD. But using all three in conjunction and a bit of patience I think we can get them off there high pedestal.

Name a time and a place and lets get it on. Make sure there is a cg in mid so the different ideas people know work can be spread about.

I knew this was coming :)

I couldn't actually GET to Bledmeer. Spice and a Firby pet he had took me down with no chance of a rezz twice.

We had also advertised for Runies with RoD over /as 10 minutes or so before setting out but got no response. :(

There is another tactic to deal with this...which works quite well from the point of view of a Spiritmaster and I think would stack quite nicely with the RoD thing :) I'll say no more ;) If I can ever get back in to DAoC I'll demonstrate :)

hmm... nice idea, how about later on today? We will try and defend a Hib keep and you guys try and attack it?

Also: oop? (Out of Power?) Sure, yip, I can expend all my power in about 30 seconds now, well now that my pbaoe casting time is down to UNDER 1.5 seconds with full buffs. Things is, I have serenity 2 now and working on MCL 2 (3 realm levels to go) and there are usually kind mentalists about in Hib defences. If not, I'm sure a nice bard wouldn't mind joining a pbaoe group with power song :)

As well as the fact that we have another lvl 50 'shade (Trad, yes, Tradolfs alt) who can keep an eye out for when you are coming up. Underhill Ally pets cast a nice 200hp heal (with 3 in a group you get a 600hp heal as they all kick off their heal at once) and the nice druids with insta's and half power res, combined with MCL and group purge... If we die, we can be back up and on 80% power and no res sickness in 5 seconds :)

Wouldn't Field of Thorns or whatever that warden RA is called help stop those nasty runies running up the stairs? :D

Nope come to mid more peaceful there less chance of albs. BTW those shades I think will be uncovered immediately. I'm quite sure I'm right on this but bring them I think they can only help your defeat quicker. (Just in case I'm mistaken can we just have a few True sight hunters come along please) Not 100% (only 99.5%) but there are 3 tactics that I think will compliment each that will do the job. If you think its to charge upstairs you are mistaken and soon as those shades are unveiled how are you going to rezz them when they are dead. You have a simple but effective tactic but its time to teach mids how to deal with it. Once they have learnt how to do it you will cry at your ineffectiveness in largescale keeptakes. We have the same RA's they arent THAT brilliant :D

Nah, Hib keep, cause we would only have to go capture a Mid one (and the Albs will be saying: "OH! Hibs just got Blahblah Faste! This means they are going to do the pbaoe/RoD test there with the Mids, let's go gate crash!")

Or we could get an Alb keep and 0wnzor all yer asses :)

TWF is nice, tells you how many foes are present.

It also interupts pretty nicely and partially snares so PBAOErs have a clear run. It also reveals all stealthers.

The beauty of it is, we've got loads of them. :)

28 foes yesterday on first tick.

So, come on, lemme know what Hib keep you want to try to attack, and when. Later tonight about 8pm GMT?

We'll get a defence there, won't guard the walls, won't repair the door. No siege kit (well, you can use rams).

It's a HIB tactic you are trying to get past, it's a HIB defensive tactic, so why not let HIB defend in a HIB keep? :)

Unless you want us to have a nice Conquer bonus to add to our stats when we claim the Mid keep you want to attack? And gain more RP's from your suicides?

How about Scathaig or nGed? They are out of the normal Crim/Cruachon skirmish area...

Teador: Not at all :) It has nothing to do with pbAoE mezz (which does work nice v Albs defending btw) Nope... this is a little something I been thinking about since a group I was in got totally wiped several times by some damn fine Hibbie pbAE Lord room defence at some Middie keep we were trying to take back a few weeks ago.

As far as Im aware (bearing in mind at the moment its just theory...not having been able to play for a while) it will work in a Hib keep and an Alb keep.
