Hi

Mtwog.com is a review site made exceptionally badly and riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes. Please don't visit it thanx.

I agree with most of the reviews that I read but it seems to me that they weren't drafted or revised as they are not particularly well written and the grammar is appalling.

Hire a couple writers and a proof reader imo :)

a devious acronym for "mong trys website on games" ?

considering the menu structure - music games movies
maybe MGM would have been a better domain?

All suggestions are welcome, we try to make Mtwog.com a review site from gamers to gamers. Also if there are any questions you have for developer, PM them to me and we'll add them in our interviews when we ask them.

and as for this, I wasn't advertising I was asking your opinions, but hey if that ain't allowed. Anyway the message was to tell you guys about it because we want to make it better. It was never my intention to make this sound like an advertising which it isn't. I thought this was a games forum and that you could talk about anything here, but seems I was wrong.

You are right this is a gaming forum. And one that doesnt take kindly to being used as lamp post for free advertising of a website. You usually have to pay for promoting things.

Your only purpose for registering here was to get people to look at your site. Do you think you can get something for nothing?

In the past there have been ruthless "adverts" just to get webpage hits.

If you were a long term user of this site you probably would have had a completely different response.

As you can see when looking at my other posts, I have first posted at the Dark Age of Camelot forum (Albion) requesting a PL. But to get more posts and get more into the forum and get to know it a bit better I also posted this message. You will see me here for a very long time, because it was not to advertise that I joined this forum. I first got to know this forum when a DaoC player told me about it. If he hadn't said that I could perhaps find a PL here and that it was a nice forum. I would never even have heard of it, but if you check for my records on other sites, you will see that I have NEVER posted on a forum to make advertisement for Mtwog.com . I didn't even realise that I would get this kind of response, if I would have known I would have added a different kind of post. And I hope that I can come to this forum for a long time without having any more problems like this one, but believe me when I say it once again it was never my intention to make my message sound like an advertisement.

Your Join Date: 1st July 2004. And this thread started on the 1st July?

Anyhow about your site. I'd suggest (and I mean this in a nice way) you need to look at your use of gramma. Your writing style appears to be in the way that you would say it, which for the public is hard to follow and I was left confused throughout.

You have the foundations, but try looking at this book "Good Writing Guide, by Collins" here. Also you have to ask yourself where you are going with your site? To be honest noone is going to use it to any great degree. There are too many large scale review sites out there that do the job 1000 times better and no one can compete with them. Your site is only going to serve as a "portfilio" of your work, but again it needs some rewriting.

Ok, will check that guide because I want to try and make our site better and this needs some work I know. But I believe that we are on the right track to making something of this site.

Oh, if you requested powerlevelling too then that's ok. Powerlevelling is an honourable tradition and those being powerlevelled in DAoC are often respected and highly thought-of individuals.
