A mate messaged me some stupid "valentines" link on msn, So I clicked it thinking it might be amusing, then seconds after I click it, somebody else messages me the same link, and aforementioned mate tells me it's a worm, although i'd already twigged.

Scanned with Norton, finds absolutely nothing. I restart Msn, and it asks if i'd like to install the 'new' version 4.6, which i've had since December, so i'm a little confused. Any ideas what this thing is / and how to get rid of it? :/

Do you use IE? It's an exploit, but it isn't a problem unless you use both MSN and IE. But then again, what kind of person uses either of them, let alone both

erm, MSN explorer needs IE to work. As does AOL and the like. Fs whats your problem with IE? Its fast maybe not the fastest but compared to Netscape... which is mainly due to the fact its integrated into 98 and later MS operating systems

Linux is a shit desktop OS, really.

Win2k does everything I need it to do, therefore I shan't go down the route of being anti- "m$" or whatever, although i think this has been said 3,000 times already by a large percentage of the forums
:)
