if oyu want to get rid of the annoying bits
(its just a program that goes step by step to let you customise your msn)
i usually install it just fro the bigger char limit on the chat boxes, remove ads and to turn off file protection

yes if you tell it to (usually appears first time you close the chat session with someone)
If you want to check go to
Tools > Options
Then click "messages" on the left
Under "Message History"
"Automatically keep a history of my conversations"
