MS SQL Server Development

Hello,

I have been asked to do a project that will be made using ASP.Net and powered by a Microsoft SQL server. I have no problems with this but I have not developed on a MS SQL server that I can't actually sit on an create the database.

I have heard of MSDE, will this do the job as a development database and then when ready upsize?

Does MSDE come with an Admin front end to create the database or do you do it via the actual scripts?

If anyone has experiance of MSDE feedback would be great,
