You've probably notice I've been quiet on the posting front since the start of the year. Life's been crazy for me, but thankfully things are settling down now. Probably the biggest change in my life is my recent engagement to Kamila, a wonderful woman I met almost a year ago now .

The wedding is planned for next year or the follwing year, which will include a full church service in Poland. I can only speak 2-3 words of Polish at the moment though . Kamila on the other hand speaks fluent English and now has a slight west country accent .

If you get the chance, grab some polish beer. Wetherspoons pubs do a selection and Tesco's occasionally sells a few. The beer is stronger than most beers on the market, cheaper and has a rich smooth flavour.

We were in a rock club, near the end of the night and I spotted Kamila near one of the doorways looking unhappy. Normally I'd not say anything, but I waved at her in my drunken state and smiled at her. She just stared back and I made a swift move towards the DJ box... A few hours later the club closes and I am the last out. I wander outside and accidently walk straight into her, nearly knocking her over. I apoligised and she answered back saying something along the lines "It's ok no harm done". I noticed a hint of Polish/Russian in her voice and I said a line of Polish I knew "Hi, how are you". A massive smile filled her face and to cut a very long story short she allowed me to walk her home. We became friends for a few months and then things moved on from there

Again, congrats mate. If I rememberly rightly you've had some bad luck in the past. Nice to see it all works out ok in the end.

Grats! I'm quite a fan of the polish bison grass vodka - Zubrowka, also found in weatherspoon pubs. I found out about it from my dad's best friend who is polish. Good stuff!
